At this moment in time there ARE special features for the Lesson of Evil disc. I had to pay to buy the rights of the Making Of, plus to subtitle it, so right now it's there and to be put on the disc

Issue is that we haven't certified it yet, and if during the certification process they inquire about the Making Of (we won't give it to them for certification, but they could check online and inquire to where it is) and then they try to charge us for it, then we will need to take it off as we can't afford it

So we'll see. Right now it's ON, but it could go off if the BBFC find out

but since its DVD i thought that might be the reason.

ive got the HK bluray of yonosuke and didnt notice such "glitches" or encoding errors.
yeah, I just checked it out. It has pixelated noise around the edges of things. It's far less clear than the Korean DVD. I only watched the first few minutes but I'm guessing it would get really irritating as the film went on. Pity.

We have nothing to do with No. 10 Blues, not sure how you got that info

For fuku-chan, it's not coming out in Japan until November this year, which means any dvd/blu-ray won't be until around March/April 2015 at the very earliest
Thanks for the info. The website for Nippon Connection is all over the place right now. A lot of the info is mixed up. They listed you as producer and presenter. Apparently they just fixed this. Good news about Kanako! It does look great!

I saw this film at Nippon Connection and it definitely didn't look like this. The transfer still looks great, though, as deepbreathsanddeath pointed out. Just a bit too much noise on top of it.

A friend of mine showed me his HK Blu-ray of Yonosuke. As far as I could tell (I only skipped through it for a few moments as I was in a hurry), it had the same noise problem.

glad to hear that it's not our fault then and a problem with the source...

couldnt you do double feature releases for 2 similar movies in the future? would that maybe work out saving some money? (cover , cases , space... etc?)

I'd pay for it today if that'd help. Kickstarter or pre-orders through your shop, anything! The trailer looks great:

Would love to buy this but will wait to see if there are any quality problems. Boomerang Family looks absolutely terrible now that I've watched it through.
It looks as bad as a pirated 700mb xvid.

I was so lucky to attend a screening of Fuku-chan of Fukufuku Flats last night at Nippon Connection, co-produced by Third Window Films, Rapid Eye Movies and two (?) more companies. It was a blast. Unfortunately, the director couldn't be there as he had missed his plane, but Adam was and so was Stefan (?) from Rapid Eye Movies.

The film was great and I'd put in a pre-order right now if I could. The film also seemed to be a big hit with the crowd. Adam actually has a small part in the film! I really hope the film wins the audience award at Nippon Connection.
