So the lack of special features is supposed to be an added feature?

The price for the 4K releases is relatively cheap and the titles announced are pretty well-known. I figure most people have the regular Blu's already.

Yeah, they just release films like Casablanca and Wizard of Oz over and over again... with new masters each time. What's that about charging extra money? Why didn't Warner — your example — get Casablanca right the first time? If Warner is so holy, what about all their re-issues like Goodfellas that still sport out-of-date masters?

I'd like a BHD with both cuts and all the special features!

I see some people still doesn't know that resolution of the scan and resolution of the final master are two different things.

That is annoying, yes, but at least each new version keeps all of the Bonus Features from previous releases and even adds new Bonus Features.

Sony -- "Let's drop all the Bonus Features even though we have 20 GBs left!"

Has the old disc been removed from the market, or the memory of everyone one the world, or can you still buy them?
Are these definitive releases, or niche releases just for a select few people?

I agree with you 100% 20 Gigs and no Bonus Features What a joke

Not to mention how sony handled the Total Recall audio drop out mess! Thats right they didn't do anything about it.

Technology improves all the time. Why not make every new edition "definitive"?

Why not add them if you have 20 extra Gigs? They are being cheap. I would buy them if they had the extra features.
