Can't believe there's still a month left to go for this, should've been out by now.

Will this get shipped to the house or can I pick it up at my local store on that day or later in the week? BTW is BB the only place that is going to be releasing this in a steelbook? I love the cover on this compared to other versions. And also will there be a slip cover for the steelbook?

Thor: The Dark World steelbook was $22.99 on its release week so maybe this will be the same price during its release week.

I hope so. I can't see myself paying $30 for a movie to see once or twice. I'll keep my eyes open to see if the price will come down.

If you pre-order now, it will ship to your house. On release date, you can purchase the steelbook through the website for in-store pick up, and you can go to the store within a few days to pick it up. Thor: The Dark World became available for in-store pick up somewhere around 6 am on its release day. Best Buy is the only place in the U.S. getting this as a steelbook, and there is no slipcover for it (going off of Thor: The Dark World).

So don't buy the collector's steelbook packaging and just wait for the regular bluray release to go on sale. You don't seem like a big fan if you're only going to watch it a couple times. Or you could rent it.

No its not. It 3 steelbook movies per customer. Some customer wanted to buy 4 steelbooks - Robocop(2014) a couple weeks ago. The Paramus NJ sales associate said no & you are only allowed to get 3 units.

Why not? Yes they can do it. Tower Records based in New York City & nationwide used to do it all the time back in the day. The next day is the next day which is Tuesday according to the clocks right? Its all & legal but not before midnight.

Just sell the digital copy that comes with it on here for a couple bucks...that's what I usually just do. I have no interest in digital copies so I just look at them as a coupon to knock a few more dollars off what I am paying for since it is typically easy to sell them to another member on here for at least a few bucks.

I usually get 10 bucks for new release codes on eBay, definitely makes buying new movies worth it

Only twice in the USA and that was years ago. Most common with Asian steelbooks.

That is up to him. But later on he might kick himself for not getting the limited steelbook Blu-ray version.
