The set is done, everything but replication is done. Rescue Me and Community finally are shipping after being replicated.

The Shield isn’t the only thing that has been delayed. Probably easier to wait and ask for this set for Christmas.

I noticed was Walmart has it still set for November 8 release but yet the Mill Creek store and other online retailer have it for December release date, so is this a mistake on their part?

Official elease date was changed to December 11th.

I'm just a bit confused by this release. Will the blu rays themselves be 4k? The description says this, "This definitive collector's edition set features full 4k HD restorations of each episode", but the trailer and details I can find indicate it's 1080p, regular blu ray discs.

I don't know, might be a stupid question, I didn't even realize this was a thing until today.

I’m not sure but I’ll bet anything the streaming version is going to be the better option just look how Mill Creek screwed up the Rescue Me Bluray.

Looking forward to getting this. I own the DVDs but willing to upgrade just for the special features.

I will marathon this show again. It will be my fourth viewing of the entire series. I use to watch it back when it was first on and then watch the episode over again when they would repeat the viewing immediately after. I then watched the whole thing on DVD... Easily my fav show of all time.

I blind bought the complete DVD set years ago. For most of the first episode I didn't see what the big deal about the series was but by the end I understood the angle they were taking and I was hooked. Straight up addicted. I watched the whole series after work in a few weeks.

In my opinion, this has the most satisfying and perfect conclusion of any dramatic series I have ever watched. Yes, even better than Breaking Bad.
