I just redeemed a 12 year old code for Super 8 on VUDU!
This was one of those early ones that required a disc in your DVD-ROM drive and a code to activate it. Originally, way back then, I redeemed it in iTunes, and that version has upgraded to 4K in my account. I was (finally) unpacking some boxes in my basement, and decided it was time to bring my Blu-ray of Super 8 upstairs. Discovered I still had the slip with the code inside, although it said it may not be valid after 11/22/2012. I vaguely remembered that some of those old codes could redeem in both iTunes and VUDU, so I thought, what the hell, give it a try. Didn't bother with the disc; entered just the code, and voilà! It worked! 12 years later! I guess I should get out more, because I thought this was exciting. ![]() Warner could take a lesson from Paramount on code redemption. |
