I used a laser pointer to have my fronts point directly at my 'sweet spot' on the couch. Maybe I'll do the same laser technique, but have them hit just to the left and right of my sweet spot. Doing this, I don't think I'll run calibration again, I wouldn't think there would be a need for that.

That might be an idea to try - the Just to the Left/Right of ones' Sweet spot.

Is there a difference or general rule in how much toe-in to use based on the distance from your front soundtage to your primary seating area?

I don't know for sure, as when I saw the THX diagram, it basically showed a Triangle from the front speakers angled in towards the Main listening area (or "Sweet spot"). In my updated T90e pics you'll see how mine are angled in as an example.

agreed, lets get back to JJ. JJ, just found pics of you on this site, and other than your "tough guy" pose, we could almost be related. Funny.

I'm on that page and a few more at the bottom on page 60, I think.

Anyway, my graduation is tomorrow at noon.

Thanks. Great Thread. I know I would be banned within two seconds if my mug was up there ! I still need to get my HT up JJ. It will look similar to yours with the B&W 600 series! Plus my Elite 60 inch is no slouch either! Congrats on the graduation!

Yes, congrats JJ. You have your whole life ahead of you, enjoy! By the way, is this for your undergraduate or graduate work?

I assume you will be doing a little of this followed by a lot of this which hopefully doesn't end the night like this to finally wake up the next day like this ?

JJ,

I can tell you that the best time so far in my life (aside from having my kids) was my Undergrad (since Grad I did while I was working). It was fun, a huge challenge (especially with the parties/girls/HT, etc.. serving as distractions), full of possibilities and ultimately the most rewarding and most memorable experience of my life! Savor every minute! Enjoy it!

I'm done with undergrad, Vega - I'm not graduating high school (lol, could you imagine my setup at 17?), I'm graduating with my B.A. from UM, lol. Unless that's what you meant. I actually have my Grad coming up. And Abrams would be less than mine, hahaha!

Thanks Liquid - I'll make a few off-color couch references to my peoples that they won't understand...

Thanks, Grev. Ahhh, you're never too old to go out. I'm not wifed up yet!

Fors, its for undergrad - 5 years of Architecture at UM. Master's starts in August. on the comments!

Mc, if my setup can get you to believe its something like his, I must be doing something right. And I'm not even done with it (heck, I haven't even started the new stuff yet chaps, lol)

Beta, I work. Well, according to Sonny I deal with less-than reputable characters in shady business dealings, One more year of grad school. Gotta postpone this job market situation, its looking rough.

I know! You're done with your Undergrad! My Undergrad is what I was referring to - It was the best! Congratulations!

PS. If you were graduating High School with the gear you have, I would seriously think were into something illegal
