Fortres Grand sued Warner Bros. over fictional TDKR tech.

Thanks, needed that! It had to be a publicity ploy - or those people are whack-O!

It never really bothered me before until now, but the party scene where Bruce dances with Selena...

I know it had a lighting effect which made it dim and maybe it's just that, but it looks to me rather soft. It just doesn't look that great to me compared to the rest of the movie.

Am I nuts? LOL

Just got around to watching TDKR, for the very first time, this past Friday.
I bought the Blu-ray combo pack back on Dec. 4th, at Best Buy, for $9.99.
It was a "blind buy," that had been sitting on my shelf, collecting dust...so...

I thought the movie was great!
I'm now kicking myself for not watching it sooner.

Loved "The Bat."
Boy when that thing fired up and took off, in chapter 5, my whole room became energized with bass, that rocked my HT!
It's now one of my favorite demo scenes.

A good portion of it was shot in and around Pittsburgh, which is just 75 miles southeast of where I live.
It was nice seeing areas in the movie, that I've visited quite often.

Kind of sad though, that this will be the last Nolan/Bale Batman flick.

Kind of ironic that the "snowy" fight scene, filmed in Pittsburgh, was in July. A shame they couldn't wait a few more months to film that scene as they could've gotten the snow for free.

I bet you all those folks sitting in the stands at Heinz Field, with those winter coats on, couldn't wait to take them off.

I wonder how many "takes" it took to get that stadium scene right.

As Mike Myers put it in Wayne's World - 'It will be mine. Oh yes, it will be mine'.

Got to watch TDKR for the first time a couple weeks ago...
Delayed watching it because I thought it was too "heavy" but was pleasantly surprised. Not on par to TDK, but an excellent film and certainly a terrific conclusion to the trilogy.
PS: I watched the whole movie sans sub-woofer, since it wasn't plugged in right...LOL.

The link's not loading properly for me, but it looks like 2x BD and 1x DVD for each film, 9 in total, + added tat = typical Warners 'Collector's Edition' bollocks (albeit released by Sony in India, according to that link).

It's what's on the discs that counts, Geoff. There's an absolute ton of deleted and making-of footage for the trilogy that Warner have been sitting on that will hopefully be unleashed now.

Assuming it's not just DVD copies...

Not really feeling all of the extras (kinda figured I wouldn't anyways) and I'm just interested in new transfers and hopefully all that deleted/making of footage goodness!

I really hope there is some more Behind The Scenes with Heath, or interviews.

Really missed those on the TDK.

Well, if it's 2 BDs & 1 DVD ... something's gotta be on those BDs, right? They don't put dig copies on BDs ...

I wouldn't hold my breath for Warner releasing a lot of extra content. I'm fully expecting them to just re-release 99% of the same content found on existing discs, and maybe one or two new features.

Right now the international UCE looks to have these included:

Movies:
Batman Begins: 2 Blu-rays + 1 DVD
TDK: 2 Blu-rays + 1 DVD
TDK: Rises: 2 Blu-rays + 1 DVD

Physical items:
3 Mini-vehicles: The tumbler, the batpod, and The Bat
Mini Hardcover book

Both the Dark Knight Rises, and TDK come with a 2nd Blu-ray already, so it's entirely possible that it's just those exact discs.

You obviously don't know Warners very well.

The cover for the French UE has the DVD logo right next to the BD one, which all but confirms that those three extra platters are DVD copies. This will be the standard 2-disc BD releases + DVD copies + a shipping order of tat. I guarantee.
