I don't consider a raid as multiplayer. It's still PVE.

I think Grim means PVP.

I'm no fan of PVP and I've had fun laying Crucible, but I hate having to tie in a bounty to it. I'd rather just play a couple of matches with the only stakes being stats and perhaps my pride. But when I have to grind out so many kills and get penalized for deaths it gets annoying and frustrating to a bad player like me.

Plus I don't even think these exotic guns are all that great.

I would hazard a guess that it picks a new set of perks based on what's available for that weapon, letting you turn a weapon that you like with good base stats (for instance, a Fusion Rifle with good charge speed but horrible perks like increased accuracy while crouched) into one that hopefully one with better perks like Glass Half Full or active radar while aiming.

Xur is in the North Tower, on the right side.

I don't think I'll be buying anything from him this weekend, except for the obligatory heavy ammo synth pack. That hand cannon looks and sounds nice, but I just never use them.

I'm quite lucky, my wife likes gaming just as much as me so one night she has the PS4 and the next I have it. She's not into Destiny as much as me but she already has a Hunter at Level 27.
She mostly plays COD and I'm a BF player so there's always banter in the house as to which is better

You should do a Warlock Character. I've got a Hunter at 27 and a Titan at 17. Going to get my Titan to 20 and then start Warlock

I bought the Last Word from him and took it for a short spin just now. It's a super fast firing hand cannon with very little range. Damage drop-off happens very quickly - similar to most shotguns because it has very low range. However, it sprays bullets like they're going out of style.

Great PvP weapon, horrible PvE weapon.
