There will be a delay in me getting this set.
My GF used the wrong card the other day and dropped the balance by $50, so we transferred money back onto this card and now need to wait for the funds to clear.
Ugh, I hope they don't cancel it.
I gotta call RightStuf tomorrow.
It was already after 5pm when I noticed the email.

As a reminder, this boxset is mostly identical to the UK/AU/US one.

-Upper and lower sides of the box appears to be plain grey and reading "Neon Genesis Evangelion - Ultimate Edition". That spine is unfortunate IMO.
-Box is LD sized, as such, the artworks are slightly cropped in all directions to fit as they have to be smaller than the LD size, as I pointed out 2 weeks earlier.
-Plain "plastic red" file to store discs (The US/UK/AU UE will have another one, I presume it will be blue ?)

God I hate Instagram! I would really love to take a look at that edition but I can't be bothered to make an Instagram account. Well, gotta wait a bit longer until some pictures spread elsewhere. I'm especially interested in how the discs are stored in that thing.

Sometimes coming here feels like I'm in a Dr Rick Progressive commercial, BTW if you can see the pics on instagram you are not "hashtagging".

I'm really not a fan of that packaging. Though, if Zavvi can't manage to properly ship a CE to me, this edition might be my only chance.
However I'm not expecting the German version to sell out that fast. From my experience, most German anime blu-rays don't sell particularly fast.

Was kinda hoping the UE packing would have had plastic disc holders. Though my only concern is loose discs while in transit as I'm looking to move the classic discs to an amaray case either way.

My collector booklet has alot of faded black words inside, which is supposed to be white.. guess the printer didn't get a refill of ink. Also alot of my classic dub discs have scratches..hope they still work.

The condition of discs in brand new sets has been out of control recently. I bought something this week and half of the discs were covered in scratches and greasy fingerprints. It looked like someone was eating pizza while they were placing the discs in the case.
