Affleck questioned Bay about the major plot hole in Armageddon (training oil diggers to be astronauts and not the other way around) which Bay told him to shut up about. Heck, someone on the set of Citizen Kane pointed out the obvious plot hole about Rosebud being said in an empty room. AND YES, IT WAS AN EMPTY ROOM because Welles acknowedeged that mistake too. He also told the person to be quiet about it. But in these cases, the directors chose to ignore the questions because they effect the plot momentum.

Having no one else on set question Abrams and he finally cops to it himself in interviews AFTER the theatrical release just says he was surrounded by staff either too afraid to say anything or too in love with him to say anything.
Did he really admitted the mistake? Do you have links of him discussing the issue? I was really annoyed by that mistake and hope someone will correct it somehow in the next episode. To me, it made absolutely no sense that the two closest to Han Solo and who themselves know each other for so long and have been through so much together would not go to each other for consolation.

DISCLAIMER: This is not a negative post by me, I am only providing the link amd some commentary on said link.

http://www.ew.com/article/2016/03/08...s-leia-rey-hug

He says it was an oversight and blocking mistake. Evidently, we were supposed to see Chewy carrying Finn in the shot. Hence the no Chewy no huggy buuuttt then he goes into things we wouldn't know because we weren't in his head.

So he admitted *a* mistake, not sure if he is referring to the hug or the final shot though.

By the way, has anyone had difficulty finding the second wave of Rey figures Hasbro promised? I got the Disney Store exclusive die cast one but I'd love a few Hasbros to play with my niece & nephew. Actually, has anyone seen any TFA figures that aren't background characters? I haven't seen Poe or Finn either.

You are probably right about that with the Hobbit, but honestly I personally don't know and didn't know during the last film. Nor did my wife actually.

Back to TFA, I was listening to a podcast by Cash Levy and he commented that when Kylo Ren showed up and then when you saw his face, he thought he was watching Spaceballs. A parody of Star Wars. Very appropriate, and I'd tend to agree...

My theory is that Rey is somehow the daughter of Yoda. The reason I believe this is because in many of the photos I see of Rey, her ears are kinda pointy.

That would explain why she can maybe use the light saber with little to no training.

Rey was able to see in advance where Kylo would strike using the Force, and then blocked his attacks. It really has nothing to do with being skilled with the lightsaber. The Force helped her.

...what are you even trying to say here? Kylo Ren, a petulant man-child, should have been played by someone with bland action-figure looks like say, JAI COURTNEY, because having him be played by a slightly weird-looking guy (who women mostly seem to think is totally hot anyway) makes it a "parody" of Star Wars??

I think it's weird that Driver could definitely pass as Keanu Reeves younger brother.

I was actually telling a coworker that after i first saw the Force Awakens. Kylo ren, without his mask, is a very weird looking guy, in my opnion. I was actually disappointed when I realized that a guy with those kind of looks would play Kylo. I am not sure why, honestly. He just didn't have that 'villian' look to him. But I think the guy is very unattractive, almost hideous.

You guys sure have some strong opinions on the attractiveness of men. :/ We wouldn't want anyone you don't find hot in a movie now, would we?

It's no mystery. Carrie Fisher and many others has talked about this at length when it comes to Hollywood. No one said that it's right, but it's how it is unfortunately.

I thought Driver actually looked like fordś son. Look at their chin and nose. Good casting.

Completely disagree. My BFF and I discussed this at length after I finally took her to the movie. I have no problems with his acting abilities. However, physically, he looks NOTHING like Ford or Fisher. He almost doesn't look white. There's no match there at all.

I thought he was the best thing about the movie. His performance was moving and I always applaud atypical-looking people being cast in major roles.

Plus, I gotta add, anybody implying you don't understand your orientation if you're concerned about looks doesn't really understand their orientation.

I immediately knew Kylo was going to be Han's kid when i saw the the Adam Driver headshot photo they were working from compared to a young Harrison Ford headshot. They look very similar.

I thought Kylo was amazing and I think by the time the series ends, he's going to be a villain on the level of Vader and beyond. When a New Hope starts, we see Vader storm the Rebel ship and we instantly know he's the villain but we don't know his story or really what he did in his prime. He's already an old man.

I think Kylo will be extremely dangerous in the next movie after receiving training from Snoke and will survive the trilogy. When the next trilogy starts, I think they'll recreate the scene with Vader except with Kylo storming a ship and this time, we'll know his complete history and how dangerous he is.

Anyway, the headshots...

You said it much more eloquently than I would have.

Zero resemblance whatsoever.

I wish Chewbacca got to mourn longer. It was way too short.

U look at Bruce/Batman after Racheal dies and he's given the proper post-death scene.
