Thank you. Not gonna hear much more today. This is exactly what I was talking about in another thread though, man. This f<<kery that keeps happening to me. I pre-ordered from VinSyn with specials and I'm a member and etc etc, yet I didn't get my order anywhere close to earlier than what's been told to me. I pre-ordered diabolik, and they ship my order clear across country when their point of origin is ONE state next to me, turning a few days into a whole week.

NOW this. Instead of shipping my order a good week early, I'm dealing with this bullshit. Getting shipments earlier than release date is awesome in theory and on paper. But I'll be damned, if such luxury is somehow an impossibility for me according to the bumfork cosmos that controls my destiny.

No stacked discs in the steelbooks, each gets its own hub. Spared no expense!

Crazy. Time flies, don't it? That almost makes this movie a... yup, I'm gonna go there... "dinosaur".

Received mines from Gruv earlier today. Nice looking set! I'll need to figure out how to upload some pics.

Even if you can't upload pics, I'd be curious what you see vs the previous release? Esp, as it relates to the first film? Any thoughts from a PQ or the Atmos track differences? Just some bullet point thoughts would be great if you have the time.

Drives me nuts when people get copies of movies that pretty much everyone wants to know how the audio/video quality is or compares with what's already out there but they don't look. Sad thing is I do the same thing

All I want to know is if the DNR is the same as the first release.

Spared no expense, but common sense.

Even if these 35 mm trailers are not representative of the look of the time, they do give an impression. What a cool adventure look the film had and how boring it looks in home entertainment.

I only had time to view the opening 15 min or so. My first impressions - Audio enhancement was noticeable immediately (Atmos) along with the color grading from my eye (more balance image with richer blacks on my Oled) Hope this helps.

The suspense is killing me waiting to hear if these are genuine improvements over the existing 4K discs.

On the one hand I want these to look the best they can on home video, and on the other hand I don’t want to buy these movies on disc… again lol.
