Still prefer Luc Besson's Valerian over any of the newer Star Wars films.

I have to really struggle in order to think of a genuinely unpopular movie opinion these days truth be told, now games on the other hand, different story.

I'm definitely not that fond of Ari Aster, had Florence Pugh not really went for it in terms of performance I would have been slumping in my seat during the whole of Midsommar as opposed to 75% of the time.

Agree with many of your opinions but not the above. Captain Misandry is a terrible superhero film and singlehandedly convinced me that my instincts to skip the entire MCU Phase 4 cycle are justified.

As a character she lacked any development during the course of the film and not only was she poorly acted but also incredibly dislikable (if her character had been a man they would have been regarded as a toxic male, yet somehow being female and acting that way is enpowering )

As for the Nick Fury reveal. It was misjudged, obnoxious and disrespectful to the character's legacy.

Also the plot wasn't great while the action was underwhelming.

The other forum would only have about five members.

Martin Brest should be celebrated for the several good movies he directed, not criticized for the one major stinker he directed.

I've just watched The Graduate for the first time, and I think it's aged horribly.

It's one of the best films ever made and is still relevant today.

This is really why I don't take my movie watching seriously.

Dune 2020 is already the most overrated film of the year.

I’m not even saying it’s going to be awful, I’m just saying the fan base in this forum is treating it like it’s being made by the Bene Gesserit themselves.

I think Villeneuve fans are in danger of becoming the new Nolan fans. And I say this is as somebody who loves 2049.

I LOVE 2049. What a stunner, especially considering I didn’t believe he could pull it off.

But thus far, all this secrecy behind Dune just leads me to believe there’s nothing behind the curtain that hasn’t been seen before.

More than welcome a surprise, but it’s been pretty “blah” since that first Chalamet image, which looks like an outtake from Madonna’s “Frozen” music video.

^ This.

He's very good, but he still hasn't reached all-time great status.

People who buy movies they don't like or haven't seen, simply because the Blu-ray is OOP? That's goofy. Glad it isn't my money being spent.
