Understood you want to use the warlock, but UT can be a level 30, right. With him, myself and JJ at 30 and everyone else at 29, that could be a hard mode. Up to you. Consider there is always the potential to patch the Templar, which will make it a little more difficult and surely more time consuming.

Understood you want to use the warlock, but UT can be a level 30, right. With him, myself and JJ at 30 and everyone else at 29, that could be a hard mode. Up to you. Consider there is always the potential to patch the Templar, which will make it a little more difficult and surely more time consuming.

Sure we can do Hard, but me @ 27? I might die way too many times and it won't be fun on my end I'd definitely do Hard with my 29.5 Hunter next week. All I care about is Raid gear so whatever we decide to do, I'm down. I'm all about the team.

As for UT, I don't think he's a 30. I've only seen him as a 29.

You can do one normal and one hard raid per guardian, per week, and get loot from all. There is a higher percentage for loot if you only do hard, but I'd rather roll the dice with more raids.

If we attempt a hard raid on Sunday instead, then I'll need another normal raid for my Titan this week. I should be available most of the weekend. If anyone needs a lowly 29 for a hard raid tonight, I'm in.

Oh you know I'd do Hard & Normal with my Hunter. It's just finding the extra time to play is my problem. I'll figure something out now that I have 2 characters to Raid with. I'm satisfied getting 2 raids in per week.

Sounds like several of you want to Raid tonight. Too bad I won't be online Fri/Sat, and if I am, it's just for Daily for my 2 characters then I'm out.

Need to make a checklist on my phone for both my characters. Make sure I did Daily, weekly, Nightfall, Normal Raid, Hard Raid etc etc. My Destiny schedule is going to be even more hectic once I include a Titan in the very near future

Well, here's the deal. In hard mode, I think you get double drops at the bosses. Not sure of that, since I've not done HM without having done NM first. But if that's the case, and they are not, say, dropping two pairs of boots at one time, the single HM raid is better than two raids, where I know the possibility of the same drop from the same boss happens.

Yup, she's a virgin alright. Need more experience before she deals with the big boys and their big guns

Count me in if we decide to change Sunday to a hard raid. Heck, I'll do it anyway, just to get more experience, as I don't have much else to do over the weekend.

Thanks, Jon, that explains it better. I'd love to get through a hard raid, though as a 29, I'd need to be with at least 3-4 30's to have a good shot at completion, right? I would think 4, just on the 1/120 chance that all 3 29's are teleported at once, which would be a guaranteed wipe.

I am only 29... I am missing an exotic helm or raid helm and haven't had any luck with my 3 hard raids so far. Only part I have an issue with are the lvl 30 minotaur in the gates if I'm a the shield bearer. Besides that it takes something really cheesy to get me.

I really should have bought an exotic helm a few weeks ago, but I wasn't thinking about hitting 30 just to raid.... The exotic Warlock helm that Zur sales would be scrapped by me the moment I received the raid helm, so I never bought it just to lvl it for nothing.

I do have just about every raid weapon maxed out. I only am missing the raid fusion now.

Seriously! Since 1991, to really think you'd rather hang around with some internet guys. I'm really sorry about that. I can only empathize, because Julie does not have a passive aggressive bone in her body. If she did not want me to play, I would be the first to know.

See, that's not necessarily true. SnakeXRS recently posted advice on how to beat part of it with 5 29's. I believe it can work, because with 5 29's we got mighty close to getting past the Gatekeepers, which in my opinion is a harder section than Atheon. If three 29's get teleported and they have upgraded heavy weapons to help with the adds, and someone comes into the portal to help shoot oracles if necessary, it should work out with practice, but practice takes time.
