Can't count how many people, mostly females for whatever reason, tell me they are high functioning autistic, like it's cool or makes them special or something. Oh yea, they aren't even close to autistic, neurotic sure but not autistic.

I for one can tell you that being labeled "special" is highly overrated. Despite having a genius level IQ, I spent much of my grade school years in a special needs school. That was in fact what ultimately got me into such an educational institution. It took two such test results before they were convinced that I was in fact not seriously learning impaired. I didn't absorb a damn thing until I reached college. Sure, much of that was my fault, but I was bored out of my mind. Oh, and a few lengthy stints in a psych hospital for chronic depression didn't help either. Care to trade war stories? I'm okay with quirky, eccentric or just plain "different", but you can have special.

Contrary to popular belief, there is a human being on the other end of that keyboard, with thoughts, feelings, emotions.... and uh, opinions. While many of them clearly deserve to be challenged, this is an individual who enjoys the same crappy movies we all do and is obviously passionate about them. Just something to bear in mind before the internet mob flames her at the stake.

Story time:

A few years ago, an action figure customizer solicited preorders for a figure from Creepshow. Long story short, it went bad; the seller flaked out and only fulfilled two orders out of hundreds after years of waiting.

To calm the pitchforks, a new customer service rep was introduced to the FB page.

His name was "Tom".

So true. I think I even made the same MySpace joke I made earlier when "Tom" was introduced during that. And yes, I was one of the ones screwed out of the Creepshow figure.

Ugh... Don't remind me. "ShrunkenHeadStudios".... I too got robbed in not receiving my 1/6th scale Creepshow Father's Day Nathan Zombie figure with, I might add, a "bonus" tombstone included for those of us who continued to keep our orders... Boy was I a total fool! I still have my order number. I kept everything that was of proof of my order. I hear he has an IG account?! Anybody have a link to it?

I'm only upfront about it because it got so annoying, over time, having so many people name me "The Ice Queen". That was presumably for not reacting when they flipped out or not showing enough emotion, what have you. Sometimes people can suck.

Well said. And I do love horrible movies, oh so much. PM's Berserker is in a place of glory, alongside Young Hannah, Devil's Wedding Night, Mortuary, VP's (of course), MMII awaiting MMI, a ton of films with foreign names including one where Rosalba Neri spends nearly the entire film locked in a room with a sexy jerk, and my ever-expanding Barry Stokes collection and my AGDTDH:TEC steelbook #1.

Contrary to unpopular belief she lies about seeing The Farmer aired on basic cable

She lies about one thing, for the specific purpose of concealing her identity, the one and thankfully only thing that would let people know who she is....

Seeing "The Farmer" isn't that thing.

If anyone here were a fan, and a few are, not on the CR and DF boards, this thing would be a flashing neon sign announcing, "She's one of the miribeaus online, the one at Blu-ray.com, not one of the French ones or the drinker". (Yes, I keep track of the other miribeaus.)

All of us here have a right to our privacy, but, more than that, I happen to agree with the few actors and other writers who come here, we have the right to keep our love of movies and to interact with other people who love them just as much as we do, without having to deal with false love from people who wouldn't really give a crap if we died. In order to do that, we all have to keep certain things to ourselves or mis-characterize an important detail here and there.

I keep one thing from all of you, switching it around, so you won't look at me in the world and make the connection. Suck it up and deal with it. I take you as you are and genuinely like most of you here and on the other boards, including the ones I read and don't post in. You can take me or leave me and I won't mind either way.

As to Dark Force, that company with the owner who has to put up with too many people here who seem intent on picking on him until he quits, they are working on Breeders, MMI, still going on Gates of Hell/Psycho From Texas and working on figuring out all things Dead Pit.... and Ator. How's about we all focus on that?

If you go to TCM.com they list THE FARMER's production company as Columbia Pictures. They made it and likely still own it. I doubt Bill Olsen ever owned the film although he may have a print of it.
