i just read at IGN. that the extra content comes in every copy of the hero edition.

So which version (regular or Hero) is everyone here getting and where from? I already have a pre-order in place at amazon for $54.xx with the gold amp exclusive. Was thinking about the Hero edition but $100 is kinda pricey for me for a game.

I dont think you even need to preorder. It will most likely be included in all copies of first shipment games. As long as one gets it within the first few days, they should be good. No preorder needed

This sounds right. The pre-order process at retailers such as Best Buy is worthless, and I don't think it would be fair to deprive their customers an opportunity to acquire the pre-order bonuses just because they chose this avenue over Gamestop/EB Games. I think redemption codes will be included in the initial shipment to B&M stores (as well as online), and once those copies are depleted, that's that.

I got the game on launch day and got the Plat about 2 months later.

Probably could have gotten it sooner, but I had the U2AT beta to play and those damn blast shards were a pain to find (even with a map!)

this is the 2nd time o bought the game. got it agian when best buy had a buy 2 greatest hits get 1 free. ive been rebuilding my ps3 collection. ive stopped taking games to gamestop.
