I agree with 6 (Curse) having an outstanding fall/Halloween atmosphere.
RZ’s H2 is underrated, especially the director’s cut. Way better than Resurrection, which I consider the worst of the franchise.

Eh...hard disagree here. I actively hate the theatrical version of 6 and find it almost completely miserable and incompetent. The only things it had going for it were the incredibly gory effects and more likable lead actors than 5. Resurrection is terrible, but kind of funny in its terribleness. I've only watched it once, but I didn't hate the experience, I just didn't think it was any good. Halloween Kills is just a mess, it doesn't make me angry at the screen while I watched it, and it did have a couple scenes that in isolation were fun.

(This all said I think 5 is even worse and possibly the least enjoyable slasher I've ever seen)

I don't remember a thing about the director's cut other than I remembered thinking it was just as bad. It slightly compensated for the plot making no sense but then removed the gore effects and felt even lower-rent.

Only in the producer’s cut. In the theatrical cut, it’s never explained who the father of her baby is, although it’s implied that she was impregnated as a part of some kind of experiment.

Loved the score, the shape’s look and a few ‘all timer’ kills.

If Halloween Kills was any dumber it would be The Dark Knight Rises.

I only have the original Halloween on 4K but I plan on getting the rest in October. I will be picking up the remaining Scream Factory films if they release them.

That's what I'm hoping for as well. October can't come soon enough.

To each their own, but I just don't see it...I loved 2018, but found Kills to be just so terribly written. I can't believe the two movies were written by the same people. Kills had its moments, and the actual kills were good I guess, but the writing, dialog and overall story were a chore to get through for me.

It's supposed to get around 100 degrees next Wednesday where I live.

I can't wait for summer to be over, and for autumn to start. I love the fall time.
