I still have to go through the special features discs, and lend the 3D discs to friends who have 3D tv's.

If I had known it was going to be this much work, I would have just gotten the Ultimate Edition versions.

I'm glad it worked out well for you. I'll just roll with the punches on this one and hopefully the disc replacement program stays around for a while.
Good luck to you. It's a real shame that WB charges that much for the set and there's still numerous issues with it. But it truly does look amazing on the shelf.

I can always get the Ultimate Edition discs for my defective movie, but it's going to be difficult for me to find the same discs for the Wizard's Collection set.

Do you remember if your defective disc had any physical damage? I only ask this because the ones that skipped on mine had visible perfectly concentric scratches that can only have been done during manufacturing. If it was because of misuse, the scratches would have been more random.
No visible scratches or damage. That is why I ended up trying it on my other Blu-ray player and PS3.

Oh, okay. I guess visual inspection isn't enough to determine which discs have defects. I'm glad you're done with this. I'm just starting to get mine sorted out. I don't think I can sit through hours of special features trying to catch disc errors. It's going to feel like QA work instead of enjoying the box set.

Still, it's a good set to have. I'm sure I'll feel better when I get to where you are now with all this.

This is finally back in stock at Amazon. It's been sold out since they had it for the deal of the day back in September.

Finally watched all 8 Movie BDs. Only my copy of Sorcerer's Stone has issues. Going through the Special Features discs next. With a bit of patience, it looks like getting replacements from WB worked out for you guys. I, too, hope the replacement program stays around.

YES!!! This is the kind of Packaging I wanted. Glad I waited instead of getting the huge 31-Disc Trunk, now it's time to wait a little bit more and save up.

I hope it's the one collection to rule them all; looks like they are including the ultimate editions. so much for buying two of the ultimate editions.

I hope this edition comes out in the UK too. Looks like an Amazon exclusive so hopefully it will. Don't care how many time I buy the movies, it all adds to the collection

It looks like it's the wizards collection without all the swag. Seems to be in packaging similar to the Friends Blu-ray collection.

The DVDs for this new Hogwart's Collection are the movies or special features?

I just opened Year 7 Ultimate Edition!
I had a feeling that this would happen...
Either a repackage of the 31 disk set or an incredible price drop on The Wizards Collection...

I hope it's not Amazon exclusive because I don't use Amazon, and this is the first set I'm considering buying.
