I have a tweak on my 3d tv for adjusting the 3d perspective. And what happens is, if i should experience any ghosting i turn it up or rarely down and it realigns the ghost image back into the real image. Im not sure what tweaks your tv has but thats a possibility, or sometimes ghosting can come from weak battery in your glasses(if they are active shutter)

Watched The Adventures of Tintin a couple of nights ago and watched A Christmas Carol and Final Destination 5 last night. I'd recommend them all for good 3D.
I really enjoy Tintin's story, and the action and chase scenes are over-the-top crazy. It has a fun globe-trotting, adventuresome, Indiana Jones vibe and reminds me a lot of one of my favorite PS3 games, Uncharted 3. The animation has a great semi-realistic, semi-cartoon style that keeps a modern feel, while nodding to the original storybook artists. Often, the strength of the 3D depth doesn't hold up as well from up close (7ft from TV) as it does from a theatrical viewing distance, but that is understandable and forgivable. Spielberg's visual 3D style is a beauty to watch--very natural, even the pop-outs. There are some nice moments with floating dust particles, canes, and telescopes sticking out of the screen. It's a fun 3D adventure. The Adventures of Tintin: Movie: 4.5/5 3D: 4/5 Stereography: 4/5 Depth: 4/5 Pop-out: 4/5 After feeling a bit emotionally flat after The Polar Express, A Christmas Carol was surprisingly enjoyable. It is much darker and adult-oriented and has a more relevant message. Admittedly, I'm not too familiar with the Dickens source material, so I wasn't offended wherever the movie stomps on the ideas in the original book. 3D depth strength is quite nice, and Zemeckis uses it to take the viewer on quite a ride. There are many flying sequences, and pop-out snow and rain effects are very effective. The animation is much sharper and more detailed than TPE as well. Scrooge's face is incredibly emotional and expressive, and his hunchbacked frame, pointy chin, and bony fingers are accentuated by 3D all the more. Beautiful movie. A Christmas Carol: Movie: 4/5 3D: 4.5/5 Stereography: 5/5 Depth: 4.5/5 Pop-out: 4.5/5 Lastly, Final Destination 5 was also better than expected. I didn't like the story much in FD4 but loved the 3D and figured I'd give the next one a try. FD5's story is more well-rounded, and the ending is pretty clever. Watching people die strange, gruesome deaths over and over isn't my favorite genre, but this one was tolerable. The 3D is exactly what you would hope for in a gore-fest horror movie. Depth strength is decently strong, and pop-outs are taken to the extreme. I can think of one or two modern horror movies that egregiously take a more sophisticated story-telling approach by keeping a lid on the gimmicks, but that is not the case here. If you want to be splashed with 3D blood and gore, FD4 and FD5 should be your movies of choice. I just picked up The Green Hornet from BB. It was a good deal after a price match refund was used only $5.00 out of pocket.
I really enjoyed this movie the depth is really good, but for an action movie there could have been more things poping out or in your face... even with all that said it was a really good buy with looks very good in 3D This site's review did not think much of it, but IMO this was a really good buy |

Can't wait for Nemo in 3D either. Have not seen the movie since it came out on theaters and now will not see it other than in 3D.
Last watched: Beauty in the Beast in 3D. Was breathless with the opening in 3D and the depth of many scenes. It is an awesome, awesome experience in 3D. Now, to watch The Lion King 3D ![]() |

As for the movie itself, I actually quite liked it. I've seen a lot of hate for this film, but I liked it for what it is. You have to be a fan of Seth Rogen's brand of comedy, though it's toned down here like Land of the Lost(which he wasn't in, but they're similar movies). He's playing a really stupid and unlikable character, but that's on purpose. The film is essentially a spoof of the original material, and sort of make fun of what it's based on, which I think is interesting(it's like the Casino Royale movie from the 60s). It's a lot like Kick-Ass or Super, but this one is more like "what if a rich, spoiled man child became a superhero because he was bored." |

The best 3D, imo, was at the very end....just before the credits started to roll. Especially the scene involving Spidey being sling shot in a contained, triangular space and the scene where Spidey is dropping in mid air....IN SLO MO! This is what they needed to do in all the action 3D scenes: slow it down so that we can see the 3D and marvel (get it? Sorry....had to do it,lol) at the 3D being shown to us. Can you imagine the 2 scenes where Spidey swings in kicking the Lizard if the action went to slo mo for a few seconds? Would have been more impressive, again imo. I blame the director (from what I saw). Just looked like 3D was an afterthought and he looked at the final cut of it, realized the 3D was minimal and the 3D he did have....it was over if you blinked. And he tried to make up for all of it in those last action scenes before the credits. Love the movie and the 3D showed some great detail involving the Lizard....but overall...this was a bit of a disappointment (from a 3D technical stand point) and a REALLY MISSED GREAT OPPORTUNITY to show off what 3D is all about.....WHEN it is done right.
