Hot Toys posted some pics of the Scarlet Witch prototype on their Facebook page. The figure looks great overall, but it doesn't favor Elizabeth to the degree they are known for.

It's like a generic Olsen look, without the expert sculpting to make her photo-real.

My only gripe is like many have posted is the Head just seems off. But looks like it will be a fantastic figure.

These are some of the photos Richard is talking about. To me the figure looks good but it is missing that "costume" feel or look if you will. For someone who hasn't seen the film like myself, the figure looks like a Barbie doll of Olsen in goth clothing. I added a photo still from the movie for comparison.

For some reason she looks better posted here. The semi-profile poses look dead on, but it seems like the subtle sculpting disappears when looking full frontal.

Anyway, I dig it.

Up close she definitely seems more "lifeless" than most of Hot Toys work. But, at a slight distance she seems pretty impressive.

Well. I think most Hot Toys figures seems kind of dull and lifeless when I see the promophotos.

They ALWAYS stunn me when I get the figures. They always look a ton better when I get them myself. Thats my opinion. So I never worry much

I reckon it's great, the only issue I have is the head is too big for the body, the need to feed that figure a cookie or two and chunk it up slightly

Funny you say that because it feels like I ordered this figure last year. lol. I ordered mine from Sideshow the day it came on preorder. I missed the shipment yesterday. UPS is reattempting today.

Nothing is taking as long as my C3PO EX though. It's taking forever to get here.

I'm now on the fence with the Scarlet Witch figure. Do I wait for the next version or get this one? Hmmmmm....

She's up for order. No exclusive so might as well hold off and think about it.

This is what she looked like at the end of AoU as a member of The Avengers. I prefer the "hot goth chick" look to this one personally.

I don't like her hair color/style and makeup at all here -

Don't let those odd pics fool you, the sculpt is incredible. Here's the display at Hot Toys secret base in Hong Kong.

Everything is always better under natural lighting.

I don't think Hot Toys will ever get hair right though, looks greasy and just awful.

It's the reason I've held off getting Gamora as well.

Just picked up my first Detolf today. Any pointers from you guys before I try to put it together tonight?

Rickah88 would advise you to just make 100% certain that the shelves are put in properly. He had a backwards shelf randomly collapse on him once.

Gamora looks fine though. The problem lies in the real hair they use, always has that look to it, sadly. Gamora's is drier looking though.

I watched a couple of review videos and it just looked bad, not saying it is in person, but it really made me re-think picking her up. The Black Widow CA: TWS figure's hair is great though, it must just become a problem when they want to give it some sort of shape.

No idea, but it's pretty easy to style it how you want and make it look better. I'm glad Star Ace is going the sculpted hair route for their Harry Potter line, because the real hair thing, while cool, is a bit much. No wonder some people call them dolls.

I got my Detolf up with no problems! I've had an idea of putting my 89 Batman Premium Figure on the very top of the unit. Would that be a good idea? I'm not sure how much weight these things can handle. Don't want to make it collapse with the figures on it.

It'll be fine. I have heaps of weight in one of mine with a massive Popeye statue and it's lasted me about 11 years so far
