Disney didn't really start pooping the bed in their legitimate feature animations until Dinosaur, Brother Bear, Home on the Range, and Chicken Little. Just terrible writing...though you could see it coming in Hercules, Mulan, Tarzan.

Yeah looking at my Disney Blu-rays on my shelf at home, there's nothing released between Treasure Planet and Princess and the Frog that interested me.

However, SINCE PatF, Disney's been releasing a lot of fantastic movies.

Haven't seen such off-model characters in a long time. Don't really care what the final product looks like as I use custom covers anyway, but they look awful.

That last cover comes off as a poorly conceived attempt to honour Robin Williams.

The D23 site posted this to advertise the Aladdin panel at their Expo:

Definitely the best of the lot and likely to be the final cover. Now let's hope that's not crammed into the dreaded oval and surrounded by silver...

People need to let it go. The oval is here to stay. I'm not a fan of it either but we need to be realistic that it's not going anywhere, lol..
