So as I was chopping down trees with the Master Sword, I thought about how funny it would be if Fi jumped out of the sword, slapped Link, and called him an idiot for using the sword like an axe. Too bad they didn't include that.

It doesn't break but it's "power" runs out making it unusable for 10 minutes. I love chopping Guardian legs off with it. Also if you have full hearts use R1 to shoot a beam from it (instead of throwing it like other weapons).

If you use it on regular enemies like bokoblins or breaking gems or whatever, it "breaks" by losing its power for 10 minutes because you're using it for things that aren't its purpose |

When it glows, it has an ice attack feature (it will freeze applicable enemies when struck with the sword while glowing), and it's attack power goes from 30 (when it's not glowing) to 60. Too bad they didn't make special numbers with their own measurements just for the Master Sword. It could go from a normal 10 when not glowing to 11 when it is, and make a nice Spinal Tap reference. ![]() I have to say, I REALLY hate that the power of the Master Sword temporarily "runs out," making it completely unusable for 10 minutes. The other weapons in the game breaking is bad enough, but is it too much to ask for there to be one consistently usable weapon? I wouldn't even mind if the other features (like the ice/glowing/increased attack power, or the feature where it shoots a blast at enemies when you press the throw button and have all of your hearts full) would temporarily run out fr 10 minutes, but at minimum it should still be usable as a basic sword to hit enemies and objects with. ![]() |

I actually have 5 fairies in my inventory. And I keep trying to avoid them getting used unless in an absolute desperate situation since it's a little tricky to get that many, though I'm sure I can do it again if need be.
Here's the trick to it... It seems that if you have 3 or more fairies in your inventory, they otherwise seem to stop appearing until you have less than 3. So, for example, they won't randomly appear when you cut grass with your sword, and they won't be flying around the fairy fountain if you have 3 or more in your inventory. Here's how to get around that. Get yourself into a position where you have 2 fairies in your inventory already. Then, when enough time has gone by for them to fully regenerate, go to the great fairy fountain where they are all flying around. And be stealthy about trying to get them. Put on your stealth clothes (the ones that kind of resemble Sheik's outfit), crouch down, and slowly sneak up on them. If you are careful, you should be able to grab more of them. The problem is that if you just run in there, they tend to fly away and disappear, resulting in catching fewer of them. Quote:
There is a fruit called Hearty Durian that grows on trees in the southern jungle area around Faron tower. If you just take 5 of them and cook them together in a dish, the food it makes completely refills your hearts, plus gives you 20 extra yellow hearts. |

It's at the top of the Great Deku Tree. I climbed it just to see what the view looked like from up there... and I found a Korok that wanted to give me "the ultimate trial" which just turned out to be a bunch of riddles. I was thinking hoof, but how would I get a horse in a tree?

Well my plan was to bombard it with a bunch of bomb arrows, but as soon as I got near it, the darn rain started which renders bomb arrows useless. Needless to say I lost the fight. I'll try again in a few hours. I don't suppose anyone knows of a shop where I can just buy a hoof instead?
