Currently $24.99 at Best Buy. This should hold until release but if you're buying day one you may want to lock-in a pre-order now since the regular listing is still $29.99.

Pretty sure that price will come down. If not I will be cancelling my pre-order.

That would be the most awesome thing in home video history!!!

I'd be glad enough if they could get back the Carolco catalog initially distributed by Tri-star. Films like Terminator 2, Total Recall (90), Rambos, Basic Instinct, Universal Soldier, Cliffhanger released on UHD and handled by Sony instead of Lionsgate or Studio Canal. Oh the dream!!!

Here in Brazil, Sony distributed them up until the 1st DVD release.

The SteelBook collection will definitely be region B locked as the discs will be from the previous release.

Do we know anything at all about this disc yet? I mean, outside of it being 4K? What was the process? Is it from the OCN? Sound mix? Extras?

It was a very hot sought after script in Hollywood. It's a great concept. What was your problem with it?

Yeah, the original script was a spec called Simon Says that was originally optioned at WB to be rewritten as Lethal Weapon 3, which added in the buddy cop angle, but then Fox was interested and it became the third Die Hard. They liked the banter between the leads, so they rewrote Roger Murtaugh as Zeus.

Is the blu ray release just a re-release of the disc most people already have?

It's more than likely the last Blu release's disc. If it was getting a separate new BD release, then maybe it would be from the new 4k scan. If they have old stock to unload, it's probably the prior BD.

I have a feeling this disc will have the masses divided regarding PQ. It’s not a “pretty” looking film but has potential to look great.

Anamorphic 35mm stuff transfers well to 4K. Should look crisp and filmic, unless they tinker with filtering.

You know that, I know that. But I can see many not liking the look expecting something it isn’t.
