Something that has never existed on Blu-ray or 4K? This year's excellent 4K remasters of The Long Good Friday and Bound were supervised by their respective cinematographers.

Pre Ordered both the 4k and Blu Ray. It's one of my favs and one of the best sci-fi movies of the 90s.

I wonder what is the time difference between the two cuts. How many minutes or seconds. Cause on the Blu it jus shows one time. 111 minutes or is it 112 mins listed on this site

If I remember the beginning is a bit different with narration at the beginning of the theatrical cut that explains what's happening that kinda spoils the reveal later on, and a couple other scenes that are alternate or extended.

The link below explains the differences

This is a great looking Blu-ray! Also a great 7.1 mix. At $8, not sure the 4K upgrade is worth the outlay.

Oh but it is. Absolutely smokes the old blu and giving each cut its own disc really helps with the encoding on top of the remaster.

Does anyone know why the Arrow 4K is available for pre-order on Amazon, but the Arrow standard Blu-ray isn't?

Has anyone compared the 2008 blu to the 2025 blu? Ones $8, the other is $35, and $45 for the 4k which doesn’t include a blu ray…

Arrow’s new restoration, in both 4K and Blu, blows the original Blu out of the water.

You can check out screen shot comparisons of the new 4k and old blu-ray on caps-a-holic. The new blu-ray will look very similar to the 4k so it should give you a good approximation of how they compare.

https://caps-a-holic.com/c.php?d1=19105&d2=4117&c=1695

Not sure I'd say it 'blows it out of the water' like the other poster, but it is an improvement. There's also a lot of new bonus features. Whether or not that's worth the extra 27-37 dollars is up to you.
