Amazon just shipped my order with 400 Blows & Third Man (plus Planet of the Apes set). So... what can I expect for possible damage?

I purchased 400 Blows and Third Man from Amazon and was fortunate to receive both free of any damage.

Also, I own Wages of Fear which came in a plastic jewel case. Thankfully, Criterion blu releases will come in plastic cases from now on

I'm waiting to see if a movie I have in the trade forum sells.... I'll give it a couple of days, and after that, either way, I'll be ordering

The Last Metro
Wages of Fear
In the Realm of the Senses

I'm hoping for some Amazon-Gift-Card balance to soften the blow

I hope enough people Blind-Buy Ben Buttons, to flood the "used" market.... My local shop has great prices, but the chances of the above three showing up there is slim (although I scored Bottle Rocket from them)

Sorry to hear that my Third MAN case is hard to look at too... I have a feeling they will do new cases to match Wages etc soon I hope... I would gladly pay postage and a handling charge for a new style case/ cover insert and transport the disc and booklet to the new case asap.

My Bottle Rocket won't line up to save my life... Man WHo Fell to Earth look Mint but that was cause it was perfect in the wrap so I never pulled it off just opened it from the bottom.

Why dont you just buy the blank cases and print off the covers that were converted on the cover thread? Thats what I did and they look fantastic!

Thankfully mine showed up with no harm done... They were shrink wrapped up against a larger set I ordered so all is well.

Any news on Benjamin Button packing? Is it going to be the clear plastic or a cardboard case?

HDMoviesource told me Paramount encountered some "production problems" for Benjamin Button, so it may be delayed ... i hope it won't be ...
That's maybe why there are no reviews or no stock on seller's websites :s

Pfff if only they hadn't associated with Criterion! The thing we want to know is if it's region free or not.

It's been confirmed that Benjamin Button will be region locked.

I was able to check out some of In the Realm of the Senses over the weekend. The picture is so much improved over the old DVD that the difference is startling. Criterion did a really nice job on the transfer, and the booklet is very informative as well.
