hey max, have you heard anything about the x10 missing a digital compass? it seems there's some doubt as to whether it has one. which would suck if it didn't

http://developer.sonyericsson.com/si...phonespecs.jsp

there's the specs saying its got att and tmobile 3g bands. 2 diff phones

3gs and the 3rd gen touch have a pretty good cpu. i wouldn't expect to get those visuals on much else at this point. but with all the snapdragon phones coming, should be able to get that for a lot of stuff soon

They could push a gig if they wanted too!

It's scary that phones now are faster and mroe powerful than the computers I used just a few years ago.

here's a quick review

http://gizmodo.com/5432678/google-nexus-one-hands-on

best screen on a phone to date.

i dunno..why do i want the x10 over this again?

x10 doesn't have xda, its thicker, less ram, probably more expensive, etc etc

All streaming media is blocked at work

Don't remind me about startups. For some reason Blackberry's take forever to turn on. It's the one thing that pisses me off about my 8520, well, that and the lack of 3G support. But it's T-Mobile so their 3G ain't so great in the first place.

Ya, Blackberry's take forever to load. I don't know why the Java layer is so slow.

The highlighted, why do you think the nexus will be so cheap? It sounds really, really expensive. There is no way they'll sell this thing at 299 unlocked. That would just be a bloodbath.

I think Google will want to make a statement with the phone though. Imagine selling it unlocked and Google Voice is part of it for VOIP calling on wifi?

Then T-Mobile sells data only plans for it for use where wifi isn't available?

It's an interesting concept.

I'll be buying one as a backup phone for when I don't feel like using my Blackberry.
