I do read comics, just not that often since I prefer watching things to reading them, doesn't help that I haven't heard good things about the new 52 books. Guardians of the Galaxy I might see for Zoe, we'll see how the previews look.

Except for the part where I consider Man of Steel, Watchmen, The Dark Knight Rises, V for Vendetta and Amazing Spider-Man to be some of the best films of all-time. Not sure why you care whether or not I'm a comic book movie fan anyway or whether or not people like Zoe.

A comic book movie fan would be very excited for Guardians of the Galaxy.

Guardians isn't part of the new 52...Thats DC. This is Marvel.

I'm aware Marvel and DC are different, I'm not THAT inexperienced or young. I was a huge X-Men fan when I was younger but I was also a bit broke since I was a teenager so when Wolverine lost his adamantium and I was having trouble paying for subscriptions with my lack of $, I just stopped reading Marvel much. May get back into it at some point but probably need to get through this stage of college before I really commit to reading comic books. I do like the new 52 Supergirl so far, no idea how much it's changed from before.

Every issue. I've been a fan of Guardians since long before the new issues. I've always liked Rocket, ever since I read him in 'She-Hulk' in the 90s. Guardians since the mid 2000's, I think. Great series. That's why I can't wait for the film.

I'm going to get the first volume of the new run that comes out in a few weeks...haven't read those yet but I've heard good things about it.

Check out Nova too, if you haven't had a chance. They're both excellent.

They are both really good and I was surprised how much I like the new nova series. That one is really good. The new guardians run is really good too.

Okay despite our differences and my initial reaction to the news that this movie is coming I want to like it so I want you tell me what you like about the Guardians of the Galaxy comic.

According to amazon: Guardians 0.1, 1-3, Guardians: Tomorrow's Avengers 1

I don't know for sure of course, but I guess those last two are 4 and 5, which aren't included.
