I haven't seen it but the combined runtime of the two additional cuts could be as much as 1:58 off based on how they round the runtimes, so it's pretty much a useless difference until someone figures it out to the exact second. Still, even if the runtime is even the new edition has only one set of credits. But the fact that nobody has really reported any significant difference is weird.

I strongly doubt any sort of new bridging scenes would be added to the combined running time, that would have been heavily touted in the marketing materials like the new extras. This is simply the two parts combined together, into one feature.

I think it works perfectly fine. If I hadn't seen the parts separately previously before I probably wouldn't have noticed the edit. |

So, I went ahead and picked this up. Used a $5 reward zone coupon on top of Amazon Price matching. It was around $17 when all was said and done. That is a pretty sweet deal, considering it would of cost me over $40 when I thought about buying Part I and II desperately a few months back before finding out about this release(thank God for this site!.)
Anyways, I had a question about the digital copy. I like watching my UV copies on VUDU. I mean, sure, I usually always will pop the blu-ray in before anything, but sometimes for convenience sake, it's nice to just pop on vudu and stream it in the bedroom. My question is does anybody know why their copy isn't linked to vudu? When I go to Flixster I see B:TDKR on there along with all my other titles that are on the other streaming services. Is it maybe because Best Buy released it early, and perhaps it will be available on vudu after the 8th of Oct? |
