I've asked about this in the Sinemia thread, if this works with any cinema or if card is needed for some cinemas. Seems like it's updated and all app based, which might be partly why the sale prices.

If you frequent AMC cinemas, they have a new option that people seem to like. None of the cinemas I go to are AMC, so, Sinemia is the only option for me at this point. Only quirkiness I heard is that when you use it for IMAX/4DX, you can't use it for IMAX/4DX again for 30 days, not just sometime within your month. So, got to plan ahead when using it.

They send you a confirmation email that says you won't be billed anymore. So that will help if you have to dispute.
And I am keeping that email until after the 5th has come and gone for a few days.

Big movies? They aren't allowing us to buy tickets for ANY movies for two days now. (yes, I know the e-ticketing theaters supposedly work, but probably 90% of subscribers don't have access to those)

Wow, even with "surge/peak" pricing (a.k.a. everyone pretty much pays for their own tickets after all in addition to their membership fees) they can't afford to stay in business LOL

At this point is there any statement they could possibly make that would save their company?

i mean, investors have fled because they are 100% risk, 0 reward. Subscribers have lost all faith in the company as they have been hit with astronomical additional fees and all kinds of new restrictions, and then haven't been able to buy tickets at all in the last couple days. Customer service is non-existent. Their reputation (such as it was) is completely trashed.

The only statement left to make is they are officially going out of business. Any other statement they make is pointless.

I'm cancelling my MP sub and I'm on the page in the app asking for a reason why I'm cancelling, what did you all say? I don't want to be denied cancelling that's why I'm asking.

Many of the indies I've been going to have had super full theaters. One of them actually being 100% sold out.

I agree with you here as Eighth Grade was an almost full theater yesterday afternoon.

This sucks. If MP would just match AMC, I’d be all over it.

I typed in "turns out that I don't like it" and when I clicked cancel subscription it says "reason for cancellation required."

You don't have to write in anything. I just clicked Ease Of Use and left the comment blank.
