Last few bits of the year

Carrie pre order from Amazon - blind buy
Monterey Pop pre order from Amazon - have the original US release so might compare discs over the weekend
Three Extremes 1&2 - blind buy dvd Amazon used and cheap (£2 I think) I don’t normally buy dvds but I’ve wanted to see these for a while now and I don’t think they have a blu ray release so dvds will do for now

I tried watching it when I was much younger couldn’t get into it at all, just popped it in so will let you know what I think

End of violence is a total mess, it’s very anti climatic even though the performances are good and the reconstruction of Hopper’s Nighthawks is epic. You could easily see Cronenberg or even Lynch doing a more interesting version of the same film, Wenders is kind out of his element.
