we wage war against each other all the time.

have we grown smarter - no - unless you count how many ways we can kill each other.

it's exactly those people with the "don't care" attitude that's the problem. the worse thing is that they, too, are too arrogant and self-centered to care about anything. no wonder they don't appreciate the simple things in life! no wonder someone here likes to post how he hates people who appreciate the simple things such as watching birds fly or squirrels playing with each other. he thinks his existence is the only thing that matters.
