can't argue with that one--- good sequel, bad sequel.

Word. Lost World despite all the blockbuster doodads still bores me up until the San Diego rampage. It was Spielberg on autopilot, and the movie was so disenchanted with the material. Jaws 2 was a solid sequel that may have lacked the winning trio of Brody/Quint/Hooper, but Brody carried the film effortlessly and overall it has the same heart, tone, and rhythm of the first Jaws.

Default Infinity War’s pop culture references fall flat

Given that they reference Alien the imitation of the Xenomorphs and the ship in Prometheus falls pretty flat.

And while I enjoyed the movie I think it is just another superhero movie with lots of CGI and pyrotechnics. Fun but generally disposable.

Jaws 2 was an average film that looks worse than it is because of the near impossible shoes it has to fill. Lost World I thought was just a plain terrible movie. Most of it I have forgotten, but I still cringe just thinking of the little girl flipping on the bar and kicking a dinosaur flying.

I read an article today on SmartNews and they were ranking Spielberg's films. Not only is Lost World near the bottom but that particular scene was noted as possibly being the worst scene in his entire career!

I always liked The Lost World more than the original, but honestly I'm not a fan of the series at all. And I've never been interested in any of the sequels to Jaws.

Half-Blood Prince is the best of the Harry Potter films.

Mine too! I love Tom Felton’s performance! I saw it 3 times in theaters!

Agreed. Especially if you didn't read the books (I didn't) the reveal that Snape is the one they're talking about is awesome. Honestly my favorite out of all of them.

My favorite Harry Potter movie is everyone else's worst Harry Potter movie; The Chamber of Secrets

For me, it's the Harry Potter movie that most mirrors the book.

Harry potter films are nigh unwatchable and boring as hell. I couldn't make it past part 2.

Deathly Hallows Part 2
Prisoner of Azkaban
Deathly Hallows Part 1
Goblet of Fire
Order of the Phoenix
Chamber of Secrets
Sorceror’s Stone
Half-Blood Prince

Enjoy them all though. I just find HBP the weakest entry, save for the great ending involving Snape.

I feel the same way about the Disney's Star Wars sequel trilogy.

On the topic of Spider-Man, Spider-Man 3 is not as strong as it's predecessors but is quite a good movie overall, and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is better than the first one even though it's still not great.

Regarding the Raimi/Webb Spider-Man films: Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield were entirely too old and not the least bit convincing as teenagers. The movies were enjoyable but I never bought that they were high school students.
