There have already been a few region free, English subtitled Korean releases of ABL, but it could definitely do with a Western release though, and it’s something that’s right in Arrow’s wheelhouse. A UHD would be even better…
I’d like to see Arrow release The Chaser, as that one went oop all too quickly.

If rights were no issue, a box set of ABL, The Chaser and The Man from Nowhere would be cool.

Re: A Bittersweet Life, the answer in 2019 was that they were trying but the current master wasn't good enough for them.

What are the odds of that Naked Lunch UHD coming this year? I read the book a couple days ago and I'm absolutely dying to see how Cronenberg went about adapting it.

Does anyone know the cut-off date for which titles are likely to be included in the sale?

I'm interested in Red Angel mostly.

Oh heck, I forgot The Chaser, I'd love that to get a release.

Man From Nowhere would be great too as my US copy bronzed over and no longer works.

I do have the Nova release of A Bittersweet Life but keep hoping for a UK release with the theatrical version included (although it only has minor differences to the Dircectors cut - I still prefer the theatrical).

I just wish Arrow would ship the title I ordered in the LAST sale. Lol. My order for Death Ship has been "processing" since April.

That and Dillinger are the two I'm after. They both weren't in the last sale so it'd be a bit of a joke if neither were in this one...especially since more recent titles were in the last sale!

I'd prefer a Na Hong-jin box set in that case (not really crazy about The Man from Nowhere, and I already have Budblu's gorgeous release of A Bittersweet Life), providing all the films get the full Arrow treatment. Eureka's The Yellow Sea has been OOP for a while, and the other two never got UK Blu-ray releases.

I'd be well up for a Na box set. I loved The Yellow Sea, and bought The Chaser on DVD shortly after watching that, but was hoping it'd be upgraded one day.

Really surprised nobody has got The Wailing for Blu-ray here, surely one of the best horror films of the past 10 years and ripe for a better release (deserves more than a cheap DVD). I was wondering if Second Sight might be able to license it through Kaleidoscope but we'll have to wait and see.

I'm sure that even if you said "of all time", not many people would've frowned upon it. Both The Wailing and The Chaser deserved better.

I would have thought its a safe bet that both will be in the sale since they were released over 6 months ago.

I first got the Wells Go edition of The Wailing and when it became available for pre-order the Korean edition. That one's a beauty.

A highly recommended movie.

I hope so, they sometimes skip titles for no apparent reason! They actually had Red Angel featured the promotional banner for a previous sale, but when I checked it wasn't actually in the sale (you'd think they'd bother to check before).

Already confirmed that Frankenstein won't be in the HMV offer, so I wonder if the cutoff is just before that? Could mean the first Chabrol set might be in the sale (let's wait and see).

Crikey! Where does the time go?

Looks like these are on my list to buy as well. I thought I'd picked up Red Angel (but it isn't showing up in my collection) and I've been meaning to pick up Dillinger for a good while.

Is the Battles Without Honor or Humanity boxset reissue 4 or 5 discs? The description on HMV/Amazon gives the details for 5 discs, but next to No. of discs it says 4?!

It's on my to get list.

Hoping for a giallo made between 1969-1972.

Feels like that came out a while ago...

I guess that rules out 4K Wild Things and Robocop as well.
