I certainly didn't want to sign on but the job market wasn't exactly great when I was out of work and I suspect it still isn't despite what the conservatives will have you believe. Point is, most people would rather work than get £50 a week except for those with incredibly low self esteem and a lack of concern for their future.

Your first sentence doesn't make sense to me.....I know there are genuine people who can't find work and a lot more the last few years than ever,I never mentioned them nor did I say about people from outside the Country....it is bad enough with Brits to be honest with you.

I was simply stating that claiming benefits is a problem in the UK,you can disagree all you want but I think you will find it is a fact,whether it be disability allowance for fakers or simply one parent families with woman who seem to be able to knock out kids quicker than I can eat pizza.

Anyway,I have no interest in debating this to be honest with you,I'm tired seeing that on daytime TV.

Sorry mate, first sentence meant to read I DON'T disagree! I wasn't having a go at you, btw. Just acknowledging that the benefits subject is rather contentious and not as simple as many would have you believe. It's demonised a lot of people, unfairly so.

We'll nip it in the bud there, though.

our cat is still at the vet..night #3.

Had a blockage in his UT. We caught it right as we were going to bed and rushed him to the hospital at midnight. Doc said if we caught this in the AM he very well could have died. (very serious for cats as their bladder would just explode)

He had one of these 8 months ago as well..but should be home soon. I have a soft spot for all animals. Vet bills are mounting..big time
