It was awful Tob, really grim. No leaders on the pitch and the quality is so lacking at the back it is embarrassing. Credit to Duncan Watmore, not the most talented footballer but incredible effort. Apart from that, it is shameful.

I hink we need to go down Tob. Rebuild and come again. I don't want most of this team pulling on the red and white again.

Rumours around here are that Moyes has gone. Let's wait and see.

Congrats mate, Arsenal were good value for the win.

I never expected Palace to win today but this is still typical Pardew feast-or-famine: three wins in a row, a draw, then three defeats on the bounce. We've got to beat Burnley next week, no question.

I saw the match steedeel didn't expect Sunderland to give us space to play and not close us down or show any fight in the match.
I hope they can turn it around but as i said to you before they never learn from their mistakes and its the fans who suffer.

Ohhhh boy, do I know that!

Quinny looked really sick on Sky after the match lol. Love the guy and I also like Henry. Give me them two over the other (annoying) pundits any day.

Finally a win. Hot damn it took a long time. I can't believe we can go for such long stretches without a win, especially when the opposition has been on the favorable side in recent weeks. I guess I should be happy that we're still in sixth position, and that we're only 5 point off the leaders.

Lukaku continues to do his thing, and a big congratulation goes to him for his 50th EPL goal. It's also about time that Barkley has also contributed something offensively to the team. I was starting to write him off.

Indeed they are. I couldn't believe they beat us last week. I was furious about that. Especially considering that we lost it literally at the end of the match.

On a side note Steed, I feel for ya man. Your team is in the gutter, literally speaking. I just saw an article about how your squad matched the worst start in EPL history with ManCity with just 2 points after 10 matches. It's not impossible to come back from it, evidenced by Everton's grand return and winning the FA Cup back in 1995 from last place, but your team seem completely listless and outmatched. They may need to get rid of Moyes now.

Caught up on yesterday's action, was out on Saturday night again so was power napping when the football was on. Might get to actually sit down and watch it next weekend.

Anyone think this might be the year Arsenal actually do it? I'm sorry Steedeel but Sunderland looked atrocious in this game, at least based on the MOTD edit. While Arsenal ran away with it in the end, there have been a few games like this, this season, where a top of the table club has played a lower end of the table club and have had plenty of opportunities to completely put the game away in early moments but for one reason or another haven't, which has allowed the underdog a lifeline to come back into the game where really they shouldn't have had the opportunity. So far it seems the team this has hurt the most is United, I was genuinely shocked when I saw where they were on the table. Are the United fans asking for Van Gaal back yet?

Tough luck in the end but at least based on the MOTD edit, Palace had an entertaining battle against Liverpool. They should have had at least one penalty though, all of them were much clearer penalties to me than the one awarded against Huth, with all the scrambling in the box I don't know what the ref thought he saw even in the replays it isn't very clear what exactly the penalty was given for. It would have been a real sour note if we hadn't taken at least one point from the game after that shitty decision. All the credit to Musa though, he literally sacrificed his own life to equalise haha. I lost a lot of respect for Dele Ali in this game too, prancing around, theatrically throwing himself to the floor at the slightest contact near the box. Why don't you concentrate on trying to score goals rather than trying to win penalties? This is the Premier League not some shitty continental league.

We are so fed up in the north east. 44,000 fans and we get served up that rubbish week in, week out.

Great win for Everton, I just watched it delayed because my folks called in to see me. Lukaku is some forward. On his day, he can destroy any team.

Congrats mate, solid win that.

Having watched the entire 93 minutes, it was indeed atrocious mate. So the edit told the true story (not always the case, especially the BBC IMO) horrible atmosphere, fights breaking out in the crowd, fans walking out after the third. It was toxic and I saw it coming (I posted earlier this week)

Leicester will be fine mate. It's bound to be a funny old season with the CL etc..

I feel you guys should have parked the bus after leveling the score. Arsenal’s quality was just too much for your boys. Good news about Nissan though.

I respect Graeme Souness than anyone else the others are afraid to have a honest opinion on the game.

We have a good chance to win our group penton but when we do meet Bayern. Munich or Barcelona for example then that will be the end of us in the Champions League again.

Doesn't matter steedeel its the man's personality the pundits today are too fake and stay on the fence but Souness is more honest when giving his opinion.
