Real Madrid have made a bid for over 85 million for Gareth Bale.

Manchester United born and raised here - well, other than the fact I was born and raised in London.

Would Moyes buy someone already!? Please!? It's getting embarrassing!

David Moyes will bring in new signings soon but he still needs time to settle into the job.
I am fed up that we [ Arsenal ] have done nothing yet in the transfer market.

He needs to sign a big name player to help him settle in,it would make a statement, something I believe Utd would like to do.

As for Arsenal, yeah I'm sure you are fed up since it is the first season in a long time where there definitely seems money to spend yet nothing is happening in the transfer market.

I'm concerned that Moyes doesn't have the pull when it comes to attracting top quality players like SAF did. Still, early days. Should be an interesting season.
I reckon Chelski will take the prem title.

He certainly doesn't but the club should be a big enough pull,he personally has still a lot of work to do regarding his international appeal.

I think it would really show the character of a player to come to United as a new signing. When one considers how big of a change the club is going through. It would be quite a statement.
My fantasy is to get Ronaldo back (Real Madrid have Bale now most likely), Rooney can **** off to Chelsea, and we'll somehow snag Cesc. haha.
Also, I think how public and desperate Moyes and his cronies has made the desire for Fabregas is a bit noobish.

I can't see moyes doing a big high profile deal for someone like Ronaldo as he never had experience like that since he started out as manager.
Ronaldo will be at Madrid for another few years but I think he might come back at some stage in his career at united.

I don't want him back in a few years. He's 28.
I want him now!

I think we're only 2 or 3 signings away from being a very classy side next season. If Fabregas isn't available, I'd settle for Modric.

It'll be interesting to see how everyone lines up, I'm predicting (with current squads):

Manchester City
Hart
Zabaleta Kompany Nastasic Clichy
Yaya Fernandinho
Navas Jovetic Silva
Aguero

Manchester United
De Gea
Rafael Vidic Ferdinand Evra
Carrick Cleverley
Zaha Kagawa Welbeck
v.Persie

Whether or not Rooney will be too involved is hard to tell after him not featuring in pre-season. I think we could do with a left winger. Zaha looks quite handy, we're certainly missing a partner for Carrick. Whether or not Evans or Jones can usurp Ferdinand's position next year is up for debate.

Moyes wouldn't be doing the deal though,he would simply be saying who he wished to buy but yeah Ronaldo unfortunately won't be coming anytime soon,I don't think Utd could afford him.

Carrick had one of his better seasons, before that I would have been happy for him to go,I hope he can retain his form,Kagawa hopefully will be much better now he has that first season behind him.
Vidic and Ferdinand hopefully can stay clear of injuries,Zaha I really haven't seen much of but the potential is there for sure.

As for Rooney,I agree,it is hard to guess if he will be there,I honestly wouldn't care anymore if he was to go.
We would probably need more cover but Hernandez is a super player and I would like to see him getting more game time as I would hate to see him deciding to go elsewhere.

I'm not worried,I've been a Utd fan from 1985 and have seen plenty of crap years, transitions are a normal part of the game and we are going through a big one after the loss of thee greatest manager ever.
I think Rooney would be away if another big name signing had come in but as it stands with Moyes only in through the door, not to have signed any notable player and to lose Rooney wouldn't be the signals Utd are trying to send out.
