Yes, I should've been a bit more specific. The original plan for Killers was to open in limited release in IMAX on October 6th and eventually go wide on the 20th. Now the plan is to go wide directly, since it has no access to the IMAX screens prior to the October 20th weekend.

Also, the implication was that Taylor would be selling so many tickets that IMAX may be tempted to limit the number of showings for Killers in an attempt to give her some screens as well.

AMC is not winning against Paramount on this. Paramount will have IMAX clean, no splits.

Looks great, this trailer seems closer in tone to the book than the previous ones. I would advise anyone who hasn't already read the book to avoid this trailer though, as it's quite spoilery.

This movie is 3,5 hours, right? Can't imagine sitting for that long in a theater. Any intermission at one hour and a half mark like that in Bollywood movies? Some audience might need to answer nature's call

Doubt it, The Irishman was the same length with no intermission. Anyway, it’s pretty clear movies are getting longer in recent years, and the massive success of films like Avengers: Endgame, Oppenheimer, and Avatar: The Way of Water may make studios feel less nervous about movies over three hours.

Today the impact resonates deeply in the heart of injustices committed against humanity.
Can't wait to see Scorseses' take. It's an important subject, of high priority...like Oppenheimer.
