Yes he did approve Ya it took some talking and getting up at 6 am waiting for and if they'd call to pick it up so had to be ready with coffee in hand. There actualy closed to the public on weekends.

As I'm waiting to get word back from the seller on here of the XPA-5, I do have a question for you guys.
What would you recommend? Having the UMC-1 and the XPA-5 side-by-side on my desk, or the UMC-1 stacked on top of the XPA-5?
Will that overheat the XPA-5? What do you guys recommend?

It's really up to you, it'll work either way and you really don't need to worry about heat when stacking them. Personally I like them stacked. While that's not an XPA-5 in the pic, you'll still be fine.

What ever works for you logistically. There should be no issue with stacking the UMC-1 on the XPA-5 as far as heat is concerned.
