Without rehashing info you could find on the last 3 years business news, Best Buy on the other hand has been shrinking and having other let's say 'issues'. They are trying to copy Amazon by offering vitamins, diapers, and whatever else. They are planning to shrink the store sizes also, and expanded the publicity of their low price "guarantee" as their strategy of competing. Since BB Canada and Future Shop are governed by their US owner, that's why we see those same tactics here now. Specifically for movies the drop ship fulfillment you describe has been the norm for years now. Of course actually taking possession of inventory to store and sell it over time is a drag on any business. However they do seem to have separate allocations as a lot of movies I order will be pre-stickered with the respective company's brand mark, which wouldn't be possible if they were all coming from the same pool of stock. |

You would be surprised to know that even though those movies come with respective company stickers, they are in fact drop shipped as well from the respective studio. BD/DVD's would come in daily from the studios and at the end of the month they would issue call backs for certain titles. The FS/BB distribution center never acted as a middle man between studio and store.

He knew what he was doing but the process did take a good 15-20 minutes. One glitch was he assumed I was trading for Borderland 2. It makes sense because Borderlands was flying out of there like crazy, I actually couldn't believe how many people were there to buy it. Only 2 Indiana Jones on the day. |

I went to 2 FS and 1 BB to PM Tiger Woods with SDM. None of them honored the PM saying that SDM has it described as "limited quantities" and therefore they don't PM

For those of you wanting Tiger Woods 13 from FS and having issues with PMing, why not go to Walmart?
They have a pretty easy PM policy and never call for stock. As long as you have the flyer. Sure you don't get the game for 10% of the difference but you still get it for $20. |

![]() I guess it's online....hope they package it well. Not sure why they have 2 Avengers Exclusives up. One is 39.99 and the other 36.99. I took the lower cost, only difference it says is bilingual. |

To their credit, packaging for the Hunger Games Steelbook was awesome: extra-big box with lots of padding; The JAWS digibook arrived (surprisingly) undamaged in a paltry padded envelope. |

Ya my Avengers metal pack order says "shipping" but hasn't shipped yet... Hopefully it'll ship today and I could possibly receive it as early as tomorrow!
![]() It's showing as in-stock and reservable at many stores. Somebody should try it out and see if it gets filled ![]() Anyway, my preorder is for $30.99 for the set, which I think is still pretty damn high. Especially if there's no coupon then it's going to be one of the more pricier metal packs I've purchased and may have to reconsider buying them in the future now. My Cinderella Metal Pack is sitting at $31.49 currently, and that's after an online sale discount. Very sad trend. ![]() |

Manufacturers are wondering why 3d hasn't really taken off. Well lower the Prices of 3d Movies.
Some movies have a $15 or more difference between the 2d and 3d version. I have held off on so many movies because I will not pay more then I should for 3d. |
