So close to rank 4 in IB now and I just got Jolder's Hammer. Finally a good drop in crucible.

Last night I did the Devil's Lair for a bounty, but noticed that I was the only one proceeding towards the hive/fallen area where you have to kill all them for the 3 layers, or whatever. So after about 5 minutes of just me fighting them off, I went back towards the starting point of the strike and noticed the other two farming chests and spinmetal. It pissed me off so much I tried killing one guy by running him over with my speeder. That didn't work, so I grenade launched him twice to make sure he got the point. They just continued on their merry way, so I went back to orbit. I'll be a monkey's uncle if I'm going to let those 2 idiots collect a strike bounty/rewards while farming, while I do all the work.

Well, I made rank 5 in IB earlier today. The Goldspiral shader is a tually nice, metallic white with matte blue and gold accents. Weapons wise, I ended up with 3 Timurs Lash, 2 Jolders Hammer, and 1 Peruns Fire to show for it. Promptly spent 40 motes reforging them. Egh. Didn't hit a good roll on any! Got to max out my Banner Boots & gauntlets to L30, so I think I'm done. The Hawkmoon and Mythoclast drop from Nightfalls and Hard Raids, so I think that's all I'll do from here on out til Dec 9th. Not even daily stories are worth it, really, when I have nothing left to upgrade.

But whew, that DLC pack looks sweet.

Hit rank 5 in Iron Banner today with my Titan. All in all not too bad. Positive K/D ratio and the grind didn't take as long as I thought it would. I ended up with two Timur's Lash and the ugly pvp ship. I can't seem to get any of the pvp shaders besides Achilles. Sadly no Jolder's Hammer. Now my problem is I'm out of glimmer and I want to buy the IB Fusion Rifle & goldspiral shader. So I have to grind out about 20k glimmer in two days.

Anyone know of good glimmer farming spots? I usually pop Ether seeds and kill the Fallen in the Steppes. Respawns are pretty quick.

black wax idol + the 3 major knights at the bottom of the the Stepps = 135 glimmer. They spawn as soon as you go back to the end of the tunnel. (no need to go up top) If they don't spawn, go up top and over to where you go to the Divide, there will be more than the usual 3 fallen there, because a ship dropped off more. Kill them, and the knights will respawn.

I'm in the same boat myself. Hopefully I get enough glimmer by tomorrow night.

About to hit rank 4 in Iron Banner, then I can finally get those gauntlets. I might try for rank 5 too, still not sure. Iron Banner is taking up most of my time when I play and haven't touched the Nightfall on my main or the Weekly Strikes on my alternates.

Not sure I want to grind to rank 5. I may just farm some glimmer today and double up on some stuff. Might purchase a second fusion rifle and re-roll it.

I got a bunch of legendary weapons this week, I need to try them all out and see how I like them.

Jolder's Hammer is awesome, and it looks awesome too.

Shouldn't take that long to get 4 to 5 now with buff the 6 bounties should get you about 1500+ points

Yeah. As long as you are winning! Playing solo makes it extremely painful.

Some of the bounties are also a bear.

hopefully will find some time to play today too. I'd like to get to level 4 and buy that Warlock bond.

we'll most likely be running a normal raid Tuesday night and will need 2 guys to get us to 6.

Agreed. I think we should be buying the class item though in case we need to use it for future Iron Banner weeks.

So keep your emblem, shader and class item.
