I'm still not buying FSU as an elite team. If they run the table in the sorry ACC they'd get massacred by a team like Alabama in the national title game.

To be honest FSU could turn around and lose next week to South Florida. Im not ready to crown them but you guys acting like they are just terrible cracks me up.

Oh they definitely aren't terrible. This might be their best team since the tail end of their dynasty that ended around 2000. I'd been very unsure about Jimbo Fisher as their coach since he took over the team from Bowden but it seems like they're finally going in the right direction and Fisher is just as good as Bowden at recruiting.

I'm just not sure FSU's weak schedule serves them well. They have only one ranked team remaining on their schedule and that's Florida. It's not exactly great preparation for a big bowl game. Not that it's their fault. The ACC is just in a big funk right now. I'd be surprised if FSU loses more than one regular season game this year.

Mike Leach has a LOT of work to do to make Washington St. a decent program again. That team is in a really awful state when he took it over. I'm sure he'll turn things around once he gets a few of his own recruiting classes in.

They're not terrible... They will just play typical ACC ball and lose to the real contenders, you really think Vtech or FSU could go down to Tuscaloosa and get a W (now that would crack me up), or go out to Autzen and play the ducks, shoot I'd bet big money against either winning at USC, or even OSU. But sure a bowl game in the middle of nowhere vs. a top10-20, my bet would change to both being very capable of getting a W. The other problem is as of late (FSU used to play like 3 good out of conference games) both Vtech and FSU play against such weak competition you won't know till a bowl game, and then the fan bases are shocked when a real contender (stanford drops 40 on them)

Epic comeback by my 'Canes yesterday! I was at a friend's wedding, and when my wife and I left our hotel it was 19-0, 'Canes. I was so pumped up, and then after the ceremony I checked the score again and was pretty demoralized. An hour or two later when I saw the final score, what a relief!!!!!! Man I wish I could have seen that game! Al Golden is bringing our program back, baby!

They're a considerably better football team this year and has a solid recruiting class he is building.

They're scheduling even easier, the only thing hes accomplished is toning down the ego, because he knows he sucks... Also if you look at his UCONN recruiting he basically recruited from this area to begin with, so its not like he's going down to Texas, Florida or Alabama and taking players. The only thing I will say is at least they play hard, they're still going full speed for 60 minutes and thats the only reason they've not been getting blown out and probably the only reason they've got two wins.
