Anyone up for a normal raid today? I just leveled a hunter I'd like to take through it before the reset.

Iron Banner buff is 100% today, so a 100 rep bounty turns into 242, with emblem, shader & class item equipped.

Time to hit level 5!

Now that I'm at 5, I'm all pooped out of Iron Banner. But it's so easy to gain experience for armor/weapons through those bounties. And I need motes to roll my IB weapons with!

Got my IB boots. One more level to go to get the Gloves. Then I'll have 2 characters that's 1 Raid armor short for Level 30.

You want a challenge you should join my group of randoms who failed to beat Aetheon on three different sessions.

My poor checkpoint come Tuesday.

Was just hating this game last night after putting in hours. Outside of our one 30 who likes the Relic nobody else wanted to touch it. Group also had a very lack of fire power overall. One guy had no legendary Special or Heavy. I could drop my Titan bubble for weapon boost and then use my Ice Breaker. Really only time we would do any significant damage.

Was nice to do some Patrols today and take out my frustrations on Dregs.

I had the option of picking the Super Good Advice or Bad JuJu bounties. I'm not a big fan of pulse rifles, so I chose Super Good Advice.

Anybody think I made the right/wrong choice?

You'll never use either weapon, honestly. SGA is more famous as a meme than anything, and Bad Juju is the worst exotic in the game. I emptied a whole clip into a Fallen Vandal when I first got it, and didnt die.

SGA is useful in the Vault, for killing Oracles and the Detainment Shield (counts those as misses, so 75-85% of your shots are going back to your magazine) but that's about it. When you think about it, in essence, "missed shots go back to your magazine" is a bad perk. You dont want to miss shots, ever!

Anyway, if anyone ever needs a 6th to finish a raid, let me know. Even though I stand to gain nothing from beating it anymore this week, I dont mind helping people. But I'll never run a normal raid before a Hard one again on weekly refreshes.

Have done this bounty 5 times now because it is so easy compared to others. I break it down for energies. It is not a very good Machine Gun and worthless to equip as your Exotic.

Thanks guys. So I picked the less ineffective one. What do you get for dismantling and Exotic?

The only exotic weapon I have is my Ice Breaker (I really really really really really love that gun). My go to primary is the Shadow Price and I have two Legendary Heavys in Unfriendly Giant and Zombie Apocalypse (both arc).

Oh, and my Titan (primary person) is finally 29! My Hunter is 24, and that Primary is Lord High Fixer (handcannon) which I do like, though I'm not big on hand cannons.

My warlock is just started at level 3.

Breaking down exotic weapons gives you the same return as legendaries. 2-3 energies. Unless you have upgraded them then I believe you get more.
