The actor with links to John Ford would probably be Woody Strode. He did a handful of spaghettis. KEOMA is already out and I don't expect to see Leone's WEST, but that leaves a few others.

https://www.spaghetti-western.net/in...y:Woody_Strode

If MATALO is in the box, expect Tim Lucas to appear on the extras. He makes arguments in his Mario Bava book that it was a Bava film in all but name. And reading the Spaghetti Western forum page, it's confirmed (Westerns All'Italiana editor Tom Betts notoriously hates the movie, and the forum poster was chuckling about how Betts will be shaking his head in dismay at its inclusion).

I have very little to add but I'm sure some of the SW fans on here could add to the speculation
Maybe we'll finally get Roy Colt and Winchester Jack? That was mentioned as a possible Arrow title years ago (it was on a Scalarama listing of licenceable Arrow titles).

Presumably their rights have expired.

That film is terrible though, spends most of the movie on cheap wobbly sets

Looks like the Kino is still in-print.

Glad to see this mentioned. This was the case for me as well. I had never seen any of his movies until Arrow started releasing them. I think I bought them all other than Black 2x movie set (I rented them as my initial Masamura movies which made me buy the rest). Now to be honest I didn't love all of them, but I never regretted seeing or getting any of them. Some are just amazing such as Giants and Toys and Red Angel. Irezumi was very interesting as well.

Based on reviews looks like quite a few of his very well known ones were not released yet such as A Wife Confesses, The Blue Sky Maiden, Seisaku's Wife, Manji, and Lullaby of the Earth, to name a few.

I hope so! Another round of Yasuzo Masamura titles would be phenomenal!

Sale has begun at Zavvi and Amazon.

https://www.zavvi.com/brands/arrow/offer.list

Every sale seems to increase in price, nothing lower than £9.99 and a lot of these titles have been as low as £5 in the past. Tempted by some LEs but not paying a tenner when I may not even get a booklet. Bring on the Indicator sale.

Why has all the talk about Inferno 4K died down? wasn't Arrow supposed to release it at some point of time?

Probably not, as Disney owns it. I suppose Blue Underground in the US would be an possibilty.

So we all hope for The Unholy Four or The Deserter, but we'll probably get The Last Rebel or one of the comedies

How does Tim Lucas argue Matalo! is basically a Bava film? Was he in some way involved in the production? I've seen it MANY times (including on the big screen), and not once have I ever thought "boy, that really does look and feel like a Mario Bava film"...

Does anybody know why I can't order any of the sale items to Austria/Germany from Amazon UK? I know that Zavvi has stopped taking orders from the EU, does Amazon mirror this policy on this sale? I don't remember this ever being the case before

Arrow have charged me for my preorder of Naked Lunch and Street Fighter Trilogy, which I preordered in February, and aren't released until 17th April (paid via debit card - not paypal). It's not an issue, but taking the money almost 1 month in advance seems abit eager. I know many people will not budget for preorders until the month they are released, so hopefully its not something they start doing regularly

Both Zavvi and Arrow pulled this one on me with pre-orders this morning, wondering if it's a test transaction that will disappear or be refunded.

A lot of Arrow titles (especially 4K) don't ship to the EU from Amazon.co.uk in my experience

it was obvious the dude had his info messed up, as we all know announcements are always the last friday of the month. It's a rarity when they aren't. Still, excited to see what we get next week.

When I pre-ordered Naked Lunch, I didn't know Arrow didn't charge you instantly. So I paid with my PayPal Balance as the source. I no longer have a balance held in my PayPal account, so I got an email saying there was a problem processing my order and to update the payment method.

It says here that it's ready to dispatch. So maybe they got completed sooner than they originally planned?
