There is this info under IMDB for "alternative versions," indicating an nc17 version - but that being said I don't think the nc17 version was ever released on disc nor do I know if the elements are available, and I don't now how much longer it is either. The one on Amazon is the 97min R rated cut.

All that being said, I would love to have the 97min R rated cut on Blu-ray, I'm sure many others would too as this movie has never been released on Blu. The other thing to keep in mind is that there is probably not even an HD master prepared of the NC17 version, and thus would likely be an expensive endeavor to put out if even possible.

We all know DFE has been created to release ICED.

Are all their releases going to be drive-in double features? I much prefer single disc releases with full colour original artwork and extras, then these barebones discs with black and white edited artwork.

Im fine if they are two beat up prints and there are no extras produced, but I know the first two double features included films that already had releases with extras. In the case of God’s Bloody Acre, did the DVD includes extras? Will they be included on this release?

There were actually 2 versions of God's Bloody Acre DVD, one as a double feature with Tomcats and one with an alternate cut if I recall. I don't remember what the extras were.

That guy has really gone off the deep end. Other than the Insider thing I always found him tolerable when he was posting here. I've seen him posting on the closed Vinegar Syndrome page and he seemed civil. You just never know with people.

I am really looking forward to Freeway 2. I have never seen it, but have enjoyed the first one, and all the Matthew Bright flicks I've seen. He's an interesting film-maker. Maybe you can get a commentary from him? He's entertaining on the Forbidden Zone Blu-ray. I am not too concerned about a probably long-gone NC-17 cut of the film.

Unfortunately, I don't think the inclusion of THE LEGEND OF BOGGY CREEK in Multicom's catalogue is indicative of them having any better a transfer than any of the other five zillion copies out there. Their transfer on Amazon Prime looks no better than the others. Apparently, from some recent comments on another forum, the original elements are with the Charles B. Pierce estate. Multicom also lists BARBARIC BEAST OF BOGGY CREEK...now THAT I would love to see get a Blu, if they have the good stuff!

The 97 minute cut you have is the R-rated cut that everyone is familiar with. You just want to be careful about advertising it as the "uncut" version, as some customers are going to assume it's the pre-cut version that was going to be rated NC-17. You may want to, in future postings, just clarify it as the "uncut R-rated version" to avoid any confusion.

Cool as Ice actually got a German release some time back. It's pretty difficult to obtain at this point though, being OOP with few sellers that will ship to the US.

There's another blu on the way...I think it was that label that originally was going to do the ELVIRA blu leaked that one was in the works from someone else and they were supplying some extras for it.
