It was Robert Randolph and Kenny Wayne Shepard. Robert Randolph was great (this was my second time seeing his band,) but to be honest, KWS was kind of boring--his set was comprised mostly of SRV-esque blues jamming (he did do a cover of "Search and Destroy," which was pretty cool.) For the encore RR came back out and they did a cover of "Red House."

I haven't been to the House of Blues in a while and the tickets were free, so I was happy to go.

I saw a concert tonight by a mostly-covers/some-originals touring band called Mustang Sally. A "dumb loud pop country anthems"- type band.

Never again, my friends...... never...... ever....... again.

My local drive-in theatre finally switched to digital. I wonder how it looks now. I know it used to be total crap like they would start the movie when it was still barely light out and the sunset would reflect off the screen causing people to barely see it.

I'm sitting here watching The Good The Bad and The Ugly with my wife and were both loving "Tuco" and I checked to see how old he is and find out he passed away yesterday.
