Agreed. I'd also add Dogs of War. I watched Communion for the first time a couple of years ago. I like alien dramas and was coming off the back of Dark Skies. What a strange film, it's like watching a dream. I didn't like it on first watch, as Walken's performance is so eccentric and like he's in a different film to the script he received, but watched it again a few weeks ago and there's just something about it that is fascinating, I liked it more the second time. The Eric Clapton soundtrack is wow.

Back to Logan - agree with all comments made on it so far. It was depressing. Critics seemed to love it though.

Didn't Walken get on the bad side of someone high up the food chain early in his career, which is why it took a while for it to really take off.

Ask Robert Wagner. Or Natalie Wood.

Why would Wagner hate him? Walken has stayed quiet.

I had heard that they initially clashed but bonded and got along fine for most of the movie's production.

I don't get the hate for Star Trek: Insurrection.

Sure, it's not that good of a film but it's nowhere near "The WORST Star Trek Film" as I hear some people call it.

I'm not well versed with Star Trek, but for me Beyond was the best of the modern trilogy, and 2009 the weakest

Beyond was the best, followed very closely by 2009 and Into Darkness last.

While it doesn't touch the original, Independence Day Resurgence isn't bad.

It's main problem is that it ignores the Roland disaster formula (which is used in the original movie, Godzilla, Day After Tomorrow, 2012 and White House Down - Bay also uses the formula with some of his films). It builds up the characters and then throws you into the disasters/mayhem.

Resurgence doesn't do that, it just starts disaster after disaster. What it does fresh is that it has more of the aliens out of the ships and causing havoc, something the original lacked - focusing more and more on the ships themselves.

American Graffiti is George Lucas's best film.

Yeah, me neither. No worse than something like Star Trek Nemesis, or Into the Darkness.

I watched Beyond in the cinema and thought it was absolute rubbish. The best part was seeing the photo of the original crew, but that just made me yearn for the original films. Is it the worst of the lot? Hard to say. I've only seen Star Trek Into Darkness twice. That film was more entertaining in places but the Khan thing and parallel to Wrath of Khan makes it worse somehow I think. Like it's trying to ape a better film but falls flat.

Here's an unpopular opinion...I like Star Trek V: The Final Frontier and it's by no means the worst Star Trek film.

As for Christopher Walken, I heard that after The Deer Hunter studios were trying to fashion him as a leading man. Dogs of War wasn't successful in doing that so he more or less fell back into character acting and supporting roles. Shame in one sense. Steals every scene he's in and I love him in The Prophecy trilogy.

Other than The Motion Picture, I like all of the Star Trek films. Some are better than others, but they are all entertaining.

Insurrection is an okay film IMHO. I certainly could watch it gain. Not as many times as some of the other films in the series but I could and probably will rewatch it.

The only film in the series I will absolutely never watch again is The Final Frontier.
