Sorry. I'm not that net-savvy. But I'm flattered by the notion. Thanks.
All my custom BD covers are shown in this thread. (Starting with those I did for Jurassic Park, my first ever BD covers. I only got into making customs this July. I have done two DVD covers prior to this, apart from the Beta and VHS "customs" I made with pictures from a magazine, a pair of scissors and a gluestick back when I was a kid. Really old-school. I've been toying with scanning them and displaying them here just for fun.)

ok, took tkdkid717's advice and used his suggest image. I hated the coloring which is why I didn't use it before, but with some blending to match the colors of II & III and adding Darth Maul, I think I can live with this final EP 1 version. Finishes the set off much nicer. Thanks kid!

...and another cover appearance for Jar-Jar. Yeah!

I like both your Star Wars and TNG covers. Definite design sense over them. At this point you probably don't even need images from the films/series, they would look finished without them.

How do you explain stuff like this to a 65-year old?
why does a painter paint, or a sculptor sculpt? Why does any sort of artist create art? That's how you explain it.

Agreed. I just told her it was a hobby and she shrugged.

BTW, anyone have any opinions on a good custom cover site to join? I'm looking for somewhere where the community is nice and helpful, and people don't have to pay to be a member.

When you find one please let me know, every single one I found you have to pay, not to be member LOL, but to get any covers, you have to buy credits\points, so good luck.

Seems that way to me as well. I was hoping I was mistaken. Looks like I'll be making this forum my permanent home, then.

I've seen many of the posters here have joined cover sites. Share your experiences please.

http://www.euphoricfx.org is the best site, its free to join, you just have to do 5 posts to get started, be it comments on a cover or a cover contribution, after that you get 10 downloads a month. Not bad for free.

Isn't it 10 downloads a day? Not sure if they changed it.

I'll ask again. If anybody has the first 6 harry potter movies as singles and would be as so kind to scan the covers for me i'd be much obliged!

How do you explain stuff like this to a 65-year old? There must have been at least three words in that sentence she didn't know.
Well, at least she didn't ask you when you were going to move out...

[Show spoiler]Sorry, couldn't resist a "Star Wars fan living with parents" joke

The covers look great.

My first attempt at a cover. The original Superman: The Movie. I just couldn't stand the abomination that's out there now.
