That Target version is nice! Know where I'm heading on Tuesday morning. If only they didn't have that ugly barcode cutout. Hopefully my local store doesn't damage them with all their security cases/ spider wraps (even though they're sitting right next to the cashier!).

No, you're not. She definitely phoned in her performance on the way to the bank. Her character and her annoying friend are the only stains on 2 otherwise very enjoyable movies so far.
Apparently, Thor doesn't have very good taste in Earth women. I think he could do alot better.

Got the regular Blu-ray copies at my store today. Disappointed to report and see that the 2D Blu-ray is just one blu-ray disc with no Digital copy advertised, and NO SLIPCOVER!

Steelbooks are always nice, but I think I'm going to stick to the regular slipcovered version so my Marvel movies have a nice uniform "collection" look. Loki cover looks good too, but I really like that lightning accent.

Love the look of the Target slipcover. Would like it better without the cutout in the back (they could have put a sticker). The holofoil effect looks great. Thanks for the pics BHT.

I love Natalie Portman in both films. If her character goes, I think I'd sit out future Thor films; I think she and Hemsworth have great chemistry and it's what I enjoy most about the series.

Really hope the Amazon price of the 2D Blu-Ray drops. Right now, it's just 3 cents less than the 3D version.

But what if they put in a new chick you love even more?

I would not object to that back cover art one bit

I love the Loki artwork more, but the execution of the standard 3D is better (embossing, lightning strikes), so I'll save the $2 + tax and pick it up the standard 3D from Amazon.

Could someone please check for portuguese audio/subtitle on the 3D disc (USA edition)?

I appreciate it.

I'm still leaning in favor of the Loki cover (the back is really swaying me towards it). My hope is that Target will have both their exclusive and some copies of the standard version in stock so that I can compare them side by side and pick which one I like better.

I'm frustrated with Amazon when it comes to any Blu-Rays or DVDs that have a slip cover or some kind of cardboard style packaging (i.e. digi-packs) anymore. They seem to package them with no real protection. There's no bubble wrap or those air bags. Instead they have some kind of box or whatever that almost form fits around whatever they are shipping, and as a result it gets beat up on it's journey. I recently received some DVD TV show season sets that I had ordered that have this problem, and I'm going to be sending them back for replacement.

I used to really like Amazon. I'm not totally against them, but they really aren't doing much to protect the shipments. I understand that sometimes an item may get beat up no matter how well it's packed, but lately the way that the package these things almost guarantees that it won't arrive in good condition.

After thinking about it, I think I'm just gonna get the single disk Blu-Ray for $19.99 at Best Buy. I'm hoping someone has it for cheaper for me, but who knows. I won't use the 3D disc and if I sell it, I have an open slot in the case that would bug me more.
