I see. I thought you meant you could not summon help. I have to delete a lot from the server already to accomodate autoupload. When I have a saved game I really don't want to lose, I always back up to USB, in case autoupload fails from capacity issues.

I never checked & don't understand how people save their game to USB before a boss.

Doesn't Bloodborne auto save? Isn't it just 1 file? If so, I do not recall seeing the auto save "icon" appear before a boss.

I'm gonna get a USB flash soon. I think this is one game where if something went wrong, you'd literally lose weeks out of your life.

Quit the game as normal. Copy your save file to USB. Relaunch the game. No different from backing up any file to USB. And it hardly takes longer than the normal load screen. LOL!

Yahar'gul Unseen Village. Every single death is cheap. Be my guest and enter this are blind and get through "learning" from your mistakes. You'll be there days.

And by the way, Prima has an online written guide. It's a waste of time. Morons can't even get right and left correct. I'm guessing some guy is dictating to Dragon as he plays and so right and left, up and down are from wherever he happens to be at the time.

Ive just been through most of it rather easily to be honest. Except for the big gate that says its closed and the one room in cells with 2 sackboys who i just keep messing up with for some reason. Ive found best way to deal with them is with saw blade equipped and extended r2 attack them. It stuns them and interupts most of their attacks. And the big pig under the bridge uou can dodge and will ram into wall killing itself

That's Hypogean Gaol. I tried doing that at level 23. It was hard. I've been back since then, when I was ready to fight the boss, and it's not so bad. You don't need to fight the two in the room.

[Show spoiler]Lure them out one door, run around to the other side, and enter the cell behind them. There is a hole in the wall that leads to the area boss.

This is a different area altogether, after Forbidden Woods and Byrgenwerth,

[Show spoiler] with necromancers, lasers from the sky, machine guns in the dark, and three Hunters of Hunters in the same location.

Awesome, thanks for the info. Right now am lost in the woods after the third boss. I don't know if you can get to a new area after the woods or have to travel back to old yharman.

Have a question about invasion.

[Show spoiler]I always play offline. You remember where the machine gun guy is near the healing church. Before taking him out, it looked like another hunter was roaming around & didn't seem like an NPC at all. Was that an NPC?

The bridge with the flaming boulders makes me smile every time I see it.

EDIT: Finally beat Father. I totally admit I Molotov'd his second phase to death rather than try to figure out a pattern.

That's a Hunter of Hunter's. There are a number of them throughout the game. They are all tough to beat. Try three of them at once. You'll be fine going through the woods. There are other places to go, but that's as good as any. You went to the right as you left the cathedral?

I'm reaching my limit of tolerance. I'm around level 60 plus or minus now. Three Hunters at once is just not possible for me. I don't have to fight them, but moving on there are more resurrecting enemies with hidden necromancers and gunshots from the dark or hard to reach locations. It's really bogged down again after picking up for a while. It's not even new enemy types that get you. It's the same old stupid ones with Blunderbusses.

Invaded three real players yesterday and absolutely destroyed them (their was really only two as soon after I invaded one player got absolutely dystroyed by an ai enemy).

In fact I have yet to loose any invasion. That will change very soon though as people become more use to the game.

The game isn't really familly friendly... Today alone I have lost upward of 24000 blood echoes thanks to kid distractions.
