Did Amazon ship anyone's Black & Chrome preorder? Mine hasn't shipped yet (though they still say it'll be delivered today by 8pm haha) but it hasn't even entered the preparing for shipment phase. It also currently shows up as temporarily out of stock for me on the product page.

My problem is the High Octane Edition is way too expensive at $74.99 when the list price is $79.99

I called them. They said Out of Stock. But considering I'm stuck in that same limbo of shipping soon, we should see a update soon, hopefully.

Nope. Both listings on Fnac's site have disc listings, and neither show the Road War disc. I should note that there's an Italian set as well, and its missing the Road War disc. The Australian set does have the disc, and today is on sale for 39.99AUS on their site plus shipping.

FYI, the Road War bonus disc in the box set has the 48 minute documentary and the international trailer.

after a lot of research on the different amazon around the world ; the bonus disc of Road Warriors with all the archives docs is only available on u.s ,Canada , japan and of course Australia . forget the French release , even on fnac ; I have it , and no bonus disc ; the same on amazon .france ; I have ordered the box set with the car for 139.99 euros and give back to them because it's not on . SHAME ON YOU WARNER HOME VIVEO . a lot of fan around the world are waiting for that bonus disc especially THE ROAD WAR doc ; since the 80s is very hard to find that doc ; and one of the best doc made for this master piece . too bad WARNER F**k us all ; except 4 country around the world . now I'm waiting to see the client commentary on amazon.com to be sure to have it .

for the less 40 years ; all the best S.F or anticipation movies ; have given a good release with excellent making of , Alien saga ; Blade Runner ; Star Wars ; jaws.... except the Mad Max saga . and the ROAD WAR doc is now THE HOLY GRAIL ............ A+

Sigh, it appears that the 'Black & Chrome Edit' has yet to be released in Canada (still no listing on Amz.ca) ...

I already own the trilogy on the tin blu ray box and fury road. I am not interested in the black and white edition. Are the documentaries worth it to buy the movies once again?

Sorry tyler, there's no sign of that and now it looks like the Mad Max 2 bonus disc is gone as well, as the listing has been updated since I last checked it on amazon.de. What a ****ing gyp.

I bought the Australian set today, the 'Road War' doc runs for just under 49 minutes. I expected something a bit more substantial considering the 2.5-hour 'Madness of Max' doc, but beggars can't be choosers.

May one hope they'll pull out all these goodies for the eventual UHD box set?

Whenever that will be.

Probably when the Fury Road sequel is released.

I just read it after somebody else posted it elsewhere, and that's indeed quite a poor review. I get that the writer didn't like the experience, but this feeling leads him to be visibly biased in his technical writings. It really shows, and it doesn't help reading him as someone fair towards the disc.

Besides the MM, TRW and MM III documentaries, the German set was supposed to have a new one for MM:FR (Going Mad).

I guess that's not there either, right?

Yes, looks like the extra extras for Fury Road have been junked as well. Way to go, Warners.

As much as I like the idea of the B&C edition I've already got two distinct versions (SDR BD and HDR UHD) so I'm not jonesing for a third, and I'm not gonna jump through hoops to import the HO set just for that and the new Mad Max 2 documentary. I sold all my other MM discs but now I might just pick up the Anthology cheap and be done with it, at least that's got the Madness of Max documentary.

And, as if by magic, the U.K. Anthology has dropped to £12.99. Once I've sold off the UV code it'll have cost me pennies. Black & Chrome and the MM2 documentary would've been nice to have, but not 'costing four times as much' nice.

Because after shipping and import fees it is sitting at $35.32 USD which amounts to $46.71 CDN after exchange....

Ouch. Yeah, I ship to CA through eBay and it costs me almost $10 just to ship a 3 ounce package from the U.S. to CA.
