ICED has been on my wish list for years. It’s a pretty nasty movie, which is why a lot of distributors will most likely avoid. I’ve got the old uncut Australian VHS from back in the day.

If we can't get dark force to release it maybe we can petition the library of congress to archive it for posterity?

I've never seen the film but the continued mentions/joking encouraged me to check out what I could find on youtube. I found a "best of" compilation but not much else. Can you elaborate on the nastiness? I'm genuinely curious as from what I saw the film looked fun but noting screamed nasty to me.

It's been a good 10 years since my last viewing but I recall there was some weird rape fantasies thrown into the mix. You the viewer are not aware if it was a dream or really happened, its just disturbing content for what would be a fun slasher. Doesn't fit with the rest of the film.

Bill has said on numerous occasions because of this content he didn't want to touch it. The movie has a hatred towards women in my opinion (don't want to sound like roger Ebert here but it does).

Im fine if they are two beat up prints and there are no extras produced, but I know the first two double features included films that already had releases with extras. In the case of God’s Bloody Acre, did the DVD includes extras? Will they be included on this release?
We are continuing the drive in series as they have really been going over well and simultaneously we are doing a big line of single deluxe edition releases as well. the single releases will have as much extras as we are able to get. The drive-in double features will not have extras like the single's as those are more about the drive-in mode and the retro aspect of the releases.

but according to not one but two industrial insiders/Blu-Ray label personals, the owner of the film has been discussing licensing HOUSE THAT VANISHED with several top labels over the years, so for you to say "getting anything", are you saying the owner doesn't have proper elements? I would think Arrow or Mondo Macabro would have closed it by now but heard the owner wants too much money, so if you paid that amount, maybe ask for a refund? Or see if you can access a better element and release a deluxe edition?

Yes please that would be fantastic, I do like the film however. my earlier comments was why I thought it was a nasty one.

I think you might find the only master in existence is the quarter inch tape. What’s more, word on the street is - that lady’s man Joel Goodenson has already financed a deal with another label (VS, SV maybe?)...

Wouldn't it be funny if DF actually acquired ICED and it ended up selling really well. Bill may need to pay his cardiologist another visit

Per Facebook Dark Force is announcing something new tonight from the 80s... COULD IT BE???

Or, maybe one of these Multicoms?
Hit and Run (1982)
Splitz (1982)
The Retrievers (1982)
Texas Lightning (1981)
Cardiac Arrest (1980)
Stunt Rock (1980)

Personally, I'd love any and all of these! They'd all make for welcome additions to Dark Force's slate.
